Loola's turned Bi
Yep, I'm doin' it both ways, sometimes together
I had a rough 'threatening to crack' area on my thumbnail earlier and turned to Gelish Vitagel (the gel equivalent of Nail Envy) to save it. I now have a layer of this on, it's sealed and fortified the crack and I'm ready for regular polish.
I spend ages preparing my nails - oiling/moisturising, buffing, split mending etc. and do this every time I change my polish. With this stuff I can polish on and off as long as I use non acetone (no glitters then ) without the palaver. I figure one (lengthy) acetone hit in week or so will be no worse than polish remover nearly every day.
I'm hoping it lasts me until the end of next week when I'm going full monty with gel for our holiday; regular polish didn't take to kindly to the pool

This is still working a treat for me. I've changed my polish every day this week as I don't have to fanny about with the nail care and nurture routine. I've also discovered that with the gel there's no base coat dragging and it's an amazingly smooth base for holos
The thumbnail crack is still perfectly intact and smoothed over too

When I went, we went to the Blue Lagoon and there were old ladies shaving each others nunnys in the showers. I didn't know where to look.LoolaBeanbag wrote:I don't get that Sal, are they all a bit keen on the quim trims?

Hahaha. I can just imagine how awkward you must have felt. Funny how what's completely normal to one set of people sends another set running for the hills.Sally Magpie wrote:When I went, we went to the Blue Lagoon and there were old ladies shaving each others nunnys in the showers. I'm pretty laid back but I think even I might have found that a bit much.

I am quite cool with my body, and other peoples.I don't like to flash it about, but that is purely because it isn't very attractive to look at. ffs, I am twice if not three times the weight I should be.
However, legs akimbo giving each other a going over in public. Nah. Especially as old lady fanny looks like uncooked chicken.

Indeed. I think the line would be drawn way before then for me too.
