Anti-Chafing Gel

Post  Wesker on Tue Aug 20, 2013 8:18 am

Cant remember what thread it was on but someone mentioned 'chub rub' Laughing that us larger ladies suffer from Embarassed

Well they've got this in Poundland...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But apparently it is very good as a make-up primer Suspect

I dont wear make-up much but i know how expensive primers can be, worth a shot for a quid Smile

I'd be embarrassed to buy that but I just might do, and for its intended purpose! Obesity and a hot Summer do not mix well.

What is primer, exactly? I don't wear makeup either and all these layers are baffling Laughing

I think its a bit like polyfiller, fills in the holes and cracks before applying make-up Laughing

You mean a sexual vibrator?! OMG. At £1 you'd probably get better vibration from a purring kitten.

Lanacane has basically the same ingredients as very expensive smashbox primer.  Its just silicone that will fill your pores and make you skin smoother pre foundation.

As to poundland vibrators - I'd be a bit nervous about the safety testing - I'd not want to risk the batteries shorting on one of those affraid

They actually had two different vibrators in the one I went in - the pointy sort and one of those ring ones Smile

I use the anti-chafing gel as a primer, it's very good and I've almost run out so thanks for the tip! I was embarrassed buying it in Boots. Embarassed

*snort* Too funny! I saw those "massagers" last time I was there, but my mum was with me Embarassed

At least if you get it in Boots, you can put it through the self-service so that takes care of embarrassment (it's not security tagged is it?)

My local Boots doesn't have a self-service, in fact I don't think I've been in one that has. Shocked

I've been mixing a little of the gel with the Derma V10 BB cream i bought from there a while ago (In 'light' but its still too dark for me) and it makes a good dupe of Benefit Porefessional Smile
