Me!!! I watch everything on catchup so I haven't seen it yet but can't wait!
Re: Bake Off's back :-)
Is that the one with Hollywood in it? His bakery's near here and my husband used to work down the road from it. They were always giving away burnt offerings and husband says his bakery always smelled bad.

Husband won't watch him without muttering expletives. He's encountered him a couple of times whilst watching my son play football (against his) and he's a bit of an arrogant twit by all accounts!
I don't really watch TV though, I'm always on here or reading blogs/polish shopping!

me me me
EDIT*watching Bake Off, not lusting after Paul's buns. love rat scandal has put me off him tbh.
although my fave was voted out - dammit Toby. oh well, looks like I'll have a new fave every week, which will probably get kicked out too. maybe I have a thing about the disasters.

Re: Bake Off's back :-)
Bake-off is the only reality type program I can bear to watch - it's curiously addictive, and I just love looking at all the deliciousness. The early rounds are a bit frustrating though as there isn't enough time to look at everyone's efforts properly. Only half watched it last night - but will watch the sunday repeat properly

I've never seen The Great British Bake Off but I do love Don't Tell The Bride. Smash and Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model are also essential viewing for me.Geordie Nails wrote:And Don't Tell The Bride's back on!!! I morally despise weddings but love the show, figure that one out

I've been watching BI Next Top Model too! But has it been off the past couple of weeks? I can't find anything past episode 10 online
Re: Bake Off's back :-)
I don't think so but I'm not sure. I've recorded the whole series so far on Sky+ so have just been catching up as and when I have time.Geordie Nails wrote:I've been watching BI Next Top Model too! But has it been off the past couple of weeks? I can't find anything past episode 10 online

Re: Bake Off's back :-)
Same. It's nice to watch a non-depressing (*cough cough* Eastenders) show with skill involved. Although that Octopus bread the other night was a bit frightening lolshoppingaddict wrote:I've got into the bake off this year!!

Bit sad now this has finished, though I'm glad the person that won did (I won't say who in case not everyone's watched it yet )

I'm glad one of the people who didn't win didn't win - but I'd have liked the other one that didn't win to have won. The one that did win was my second choice. And if you followed all that, you deserve a big pile of delicious cakeSueD wrote:Bit sad now this has finished, though I'm glad the person that won did (I won't say who in case not everyone's watched it yet )

Re: Bake Off's back :-)
I needn't have avoided this thread, everyone's been nice and not let out any spoliers! I was surprised by who won, but pleased. Did anyone else think the showstoppers were visually a bit disappointing though?
Re: Bake Off's back :-)
Yes they were...for wedding cakes! I think they put too much effort into all the different flavours.
