ninjablossomnails
Well I started a blog hard work just setting it up! and its still a work in progress with the links and stuff.
And like some others I think it may end up as a diary of my manicures as 1) there are soooo many blogs out there and 2) my pictures are not very good... but I love all my new polishes and think they need sharing - lol

Wow that jelly sandwich you made was is so beautiful. I love jelly sandwiches anyway but that's a lovely colour combination. Also thank-you for the credit that was very sweet of you, here to more adventuring in frankening.

Re: ninjablossomnails
Looks like a great start to a great blog!
Loved the intro - I spent hours looking for different colours in the late 80s, it was nearly all pinks and reds then! I would walk miles to the far end of town where there was one chemist that sold Miners make up, I can remember buying a hot orange called Goldfish. I also remember when Constance Carroll named all of their polishes after cities, I was so excited when I found the cool icy blue pearl shade called Zurich.
Will be checking in to your blog regularly and have left you a comment on the jelly. x

Re: ninjablossomnails
thanks all.
Have added some new posts, I have been playing alot this week. I'm getting the hang of stamping and I think before I wasn't applying SV properly I must have been dragging it, as no problem with shrinkage this week
These are some of the posts.

Updates from the last 2 weeks, posted everyday this week. Thats not going to be a normal thing I don't think and updating this I really notice 1) how bad my cuticles are, they look fine to me, but the photos show everything! and 2) how much neater I need to get with the nail art anyway:
Geometric - this was a pain in the arse but I liked the final result. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

These are all really pretty! I like your blog too - I've followed you and commented on your last couple of posts
ikwym where you said in your blog post about it being hard to get the traffic - I've been blogging a couple of months now and sometimes it does seem like an uphill struggle. Hopefully readers find us in the end if we just keep going! A couple of things that helped my hits was 1) posting about a well hyped polish early (Illa Pink Raindrops) and 2) making sure all my images are properly named and alt-tagged so they show up in google image searches. Flutter and Sparkle has a good series of articles about how to blog, don't know if you've seen those but I thought they were really helpful. I like her blog too.
Re: ninjablossomnails
thanks ladies and thanks for the tips Fellrunner. I really do need to do a mini overhaul and get the all tagging right, will check out that site. When I started it, I didn't think I cared about hits, but I find my self checking them quite often!
Re: ninjablossomnails
my first holo post. Was scheduled for later but the blogs getting a few more hits so thought this was a bright one to add I love Holo's they are so good to capture, much easier than glitters!

Re: ninjablossomnails
Ninja, if you're after another new product to boost hits, there are hardly any blogposts globally about the China Glaze Sunsationals thet Nail Polish Direct have in stock now....... I've scoured the net for swatches and found only two so far. The jellies might make a tasty post?

Yes, I thought they were phantom polishes until mine arrived! The jellies I chose (blue and teal) are really sheer, but Keepin' it teal's quite a unique shade that might pull the punters in! I'm going to try a jelly sarnie of Too Yacht to Handle (creme) with it's teal jelly partner over the top, the jelly on it's own wouldn't cover the VNL and these two shades are almost exact together.
I'm going to get the purple jelly and maybe a couple more of the cremes - but my swatch safari was fruitless which led me to suggest bloggin'em!
