Disappointments
You know: polishes that don't live up to the in-bottle appearance when you put them on your nail.
My latest is Essie's For the Twill of It. Bought with the Boot's £3 voucher and a No.7 polish, purely because the Essie hooked me with it's bottle look. The duochrome is practically non-existent on my nail so the polish looks like a dull, muddy grey purple. I've jazzed the swatch up with a shimmery blue topcoat, which is quite pretty, but still. Ho-hum.

Re: Disappointments
The Models Own splash collection was majorly disappointing. Being familiar with mylar glitter and deceptive tinted bases you'd think I'd know what was coming, but I still bought one and was gutted! No point having 5 different tinted bases, and of course you get jagged bits of mylar poking through your top coat
Re: Disappointments
Models Own Glitterball collection was just the same for me. Sparse jagged flake glitter, no ta.

Re: Disappointments
It's less disappointing now I've learnt how to get more glitter on the nail. But it does make them seem cheap
