No Buy! (hopefully)

I am officially going on a no buy.

It should be until I have used 3/4 of my stash, but I know if the models own sale comes up I am going to slip.

So, I am on a no buy except...

Ok, I think everyone just needs to calm down and think about what they're saying...don't want anyone doing something they'll regret lol.

I sense there are going to be some guilty posts on the shopping thread soon. However I do need to join in on the no spend. My exception is however the jade holographics, if our group buy goes ahead!

Can we do like, no spends but we can swap for things we like or sell polishes to generate money for new polishes?

I went on a no buy for about four months after I bought my 50 polishes in Florida last year. I didn't buy anymore till the China glaze hunger games came out.

I really want the Hunger Games OPI set... might have to put it on my Christmas list!

I'm hoping that by using my other obsession (filofaxes!) to fully catalogue and write down my current polishes, I'll be able to keep a track of what I have and what I definitely don't need. Maybe. Maybe it's just an excuse to use the filofax I bought cheap yesterday... lol.

Kissme, I have mine on excel, it certainly put it into perspective.

Decided that every time I go to buy polish, I will put the money in a savings account and use that to take us abroad.

Right. I had my last purchase yesterday (my first China Glaze - Turned Up Turquoise, love it!) and now that's it. COLD TURKEY. Until Christmas... No buying any more nail varnish, nail polish (I would try and cheat that way!), nail accessories, apart from *possibly* a bottle display for my desk at uni (need to see tomorrow if it's a sensible idea or if they need storing away).

It's on!

I'm supposed to be going to the Olympia Beauty event tomorrow. If I do actually make it (my friend may not be able to and I'm not sure I can be bothered alone) then there is no hope at all of no spending. But excluding that I have banned myself - as I have far more stuff to try than I will use in a year already!

Arghhh jealous!
