What cannot happen during a nobuy?

Well, my nobuy was going great guns... till I accepted I needed to buy a new helmer because my stash had grown. In my defence one drawer does have remover, another paper in it. Oh, and of course all the webshop stock will have to go in it.

Have I managed to justify it?

Helmer isnt polish therefore no rules broken. Google ikea expedit, when you need one of those for your stash (polishes only) you might have a problem

I think the bit I was worrying about was needing a new helmer during a no buy, LOL

Ooh now you've given me an idea.... I have an expedit as a room divider. Originally it was 6x6 squares I think but we cut it down and its now 2x6 squares. If I clear it out, buy some expedit drawers I can use it!!

My dog ate the handle on my travelling polish box. I did explain to him if he did it again he may die.

They are awesome we have 6 now 4x4 size. We have a small house in dire need of storage. When I discovered them I fell in love.

Sore subject here....

I have a huge long living/dining room and decided I needed to separate them. Drove to Ikea (100 mile round trip at the time), bought biggest expedit they make. OH built it, I detested it. I didn't say anything because I knew what he's say. In the end I lived with it for about 7 months before I caved and begged him to help me cut it down. He wasn't amused lmao

Its now a 6x2 sideboard which I actually love as it still divides the room but its not as 'in your face' anymore.

Your husband sounds like a hero mind would have stropped like crazy and it would still be whole. I don't attempt massive DIY by myself anymore (it's safest for everyone)

haha sounds like me. I'm stubborn enough that I have to try it, but then I lose my temper and wind up in tears while he sorts it.

I didn't even attempt to build my Helmer myself - I hate putting flat packed stuff together. I left it in the capable hands of my OH.

I put it together wrong as well!

Perhaps it's just me, but I find IKEA assembly instructions particularly crap.
