Polish Thinner Empty Polish Thinner

Post  polishaddict Sun Jan 20, 2013 10:50 am

I bought some Polish from Glitzology on Etsy.
The polish is lovely but one of them is really thick and its difficult to apply.
I was wanting to buy some thinner to make it easier to use.
Can anyone recommend a thinner that wont ruin the polish. I've looked at Orly and Seche so far, but can't decide which is best.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don't have any decent advice on the thinner....but I've been looking at Glitzology, do you mind me asking which ones you went for? and would you say they are only suitable as top coats? Thanks!

I bought:

Guardian Angel - looks more gold on the nail than it looks on the screen two coats covered my nail without need for 'undies'
Disco Barbie (the thick one) - is very sparkly, again i didn't need 'undies' just did 2 coats
Island of misfit toys - i would say better used on top of a plain colour
Partly Cloudy - I haven't swatched yet

I've got the Seche too and it woks well, although I overdid it with one polish being impatient - you need to go slowly!

I've got the Orly one, and it's very good Laughing I realise that helps ease your confusion now you know both are good Razz

Thanks polishaddict, That's very helpful. I fancied Disco Barbie! Also Cupid's Arrow, Pixie Dust, Cotton Candy and Priscilla. Just waiting for a better discount, there is often a 40% or 50%, but even with that I think I ought to prune the list it to three. Embarassed
