AAAAAAAHH!!!
Just went to use one of my Glamour freebies (I Eat Mainely Lobster). Chucked it on the couch and it shattered! Coral nail polish all over my white couch!! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
No idea what happened, can only assume it hit the remote or something. So now no new polish and a stained couch

Re: AAAAAAAHH!!!
Terribly refrained there martinsgirl, my reaction would have contained plenty of *f!*s!
That sounds very unlucky indeed - I've dropped bottles loads of times, on the kitchen worktop, on the linoed floor, on the sink even. The only bottle I ever managed to break was outdoors onto concrete. Any chance it exploded rather than shattered?
I have no idea how to get polish out of furnishings, especially lobster on white. Is it a big blarp or can you cover it with a cushion?
I am feeling your pain x

Bloody hell!!! I would ask a professional as I reckon that would need some serious chemicals!!
And seems strange it broke. I've dropped some loads of times with no adverse effects....

Re: AAAAAAAHH!!!
I know, I've dropped polishes on our wooden floors hundereds of times and nothings broken but one breaks on my couch?!
Luckily had a white sheet on the couch so it doesn't get stained from jeans and stuff. Did some serious scrubbing with acetone on the cushion and got the worst of it out! Sheet just got binned though!
Still cannot believe that happened though!!

Re: AAAAAAAHH!!!
I had a calamity a couple of years ago which ended with a bottle of Jermyn Street all over my carpet (My first thought was OMG...not Jermyn Street...then I remembered I had a spare).
I managed to get it all out, every last trace, using a combination of nail polish remover, hairspray and warm soapy water. Hairspray dissolves it. Took a couple of hours of dabbing but it worked. There was no trace of it afterwards and that was on a cream coloured carpet. You should be able to get the last of it out of your couch in the same way.

Any luck with the stain?
My daughter split metallic purple on my sofa ages ago, unfortunately the acetone completely stripped the leather, I should have been more patient but I panicked.

Got the worst of it out, its a fabric couch and acetone was okay on it. Did not help my stress levels though, getting married next week so really had enough on my plate haha x

Haha I hadn't actually thought of changing my screenname!
Planning on dark pink nails to match my bridesmaids my dress is a fishtail style and its all lace. Its absolutely amazing, can't believe I finally get to wear it! This is a link to it if anyone wants a peek [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I don't think the pictures really do it justice though

Oooh, thanks for the pic, that is one amazing dress!
Dark pink nails would look truly fab - much better than the usual boring nude/pink bridal nails. Will have my fingers crossed for some warmer weather for you xx
