how do you clean your fingers/hands after you do your mani?

Hello, this is my first post , anyways i was wondering how do you usually clean your fingers/hands after you do ur mani? cause i always end up painting my fingers but i have a hard time removing it...so i would like to hear your suggestions

I use a pointed cotton bud. Others use a brush I think?

OK, I'll admit - sometimes I wait until it's dry and pick at it
I can never get the cotton bud right into the nooks and crannies that I need to, right on the cuticle. I'd worry that if I used a brush the remover would dribble onto my not so handiwork.

i do the same haha...thats why i asked cause i need a better method haha... usually i see youtube videos and they take it off with q-tips or brushes but that dont seem to work for me...maybe its because i only use nail polish remover not acetone? i dont know.... i might try with acetone but i dont know where to find it here

If I'm painting and not doing nail art, I avoid getting polish on the edges, which is usually okay and took years of practise! Nail art is a pain though so I use q tips and a small tipped brush in acetone. I heard some people use PVC glue on the cuticles and then peel it off. Never tried it myself tho.

I like the PVA on the cuticles idea ninjajane, I think I might try that, thanks!

Same here I just use a cotton bud soaked in nail polish remover.

I might give that a go too

Sometimes if I've done a gradient ill just leave it until the next morning and peel it off in the shower.

Generally though I'm quote neat, but ill use a cotton bud and polish remover to tidy up if required.

Ooh I might try the PVA too. I find if I try and peel off after - when its tuck between cuticle and nail - I get strange jaggedy edges and bits that I didn't want to come off do.
Its OK down the edges - the next morning shower and a nail brush then a bit of picking on the train are fine, but the cuticle edge is always the one I struggle with.
