Is this a pricing error?
I read on Salongeek that for each bottle of Vinylux sold at RRP (10 or 12 quid) the seller makes enough to pay for the bottle sold, and another one as well. Then I saw that (although not yet in stock) the Bloggers' friend, Nail Polish Direct have Vinylux listed at £3.95 per bottle. The Vinylux can't generally be found (delivered, from the US or otherwise, mine came from CND Malta) for much less than the RRP. Is this too good to be true? Anyone have any ideas?!!!

I wouldn't be suprised.
Wholesale OPI in this country if you get it through the supplier, Lena White, is £5.75 per bottle, plus VAT.
Where as I know girls in the states wholesale get it for around $4.50

Should add, I have a product that is going live today which is supposed to rival vinylux.
Layla Gel polishes, 14 day wear time, with favourable reviews, no UV light :DNo topcoat either

Sal, not surprised that the price on the site is wrong, or that the profit margin is so high?
I tried the Barbie Pink (!) Layla Gel and it was a really good product, (so good that my sister nicked it for her toes) really pigmented, more so even that the Vinylux - and very shiny too. Dried quicker than the Vlux.

All the colours I liked the look of are out of stock. Wonder if that has anything to do with it...

I am not suprised at the mark up, and also not suprised at his pricing.
His pricing fluctuates depending on demand too.

They aren't in stock yet, have only just been listed. The China Glaze Neons sat on the site for about a week showing OOS before they became available.mmmmchocolate wrote:All the colours I liked the look of are out of stock. Wonder if that has anything to do with it...

That's what I was gonna say, don't you need the top coat.
Re: Is this a pricing error?
I already have some (didn't pay £3.95 for it though ) but I have seche on mine at the mo. I haven't noticed a great deal of difference on the wear time to be honest.
