Some more new polishes - Models Own

The splash collection, its on their FB page, can't post a link sadly....

Thoughts? Their pictures always make the polishes look better than they are, so I will wait to see some swatches before I give them my final thoughts.

They look so, so tempting in the promo pic but could look completely different on the nail. Can't wait to see though!

Love the promo shot- will probably grab a couple of bottles when they reach my local boots.

The pic looks nice. I may get at least the blue but I'll wait until the photos come out.

I like the mirror ball ones but I waited ages to buy them. I think I have 3 as princess sossidge gave me one the other day.

I am now on a two month no buy after my April fest which followed a three month no buy so that gives me plenty of time to see swatches and decide

They definitely look best over black - I wouldn't buy all 5, but one or two might be fun...

Ohhh no it didn't sound like you were criticising, don't worry! I wanted to be honest about the splash collection - I was a bit meh about them too, to be honest. It's a shame, because I LOVED their neon and pastels collections. I did them over different colours to try to get them to work - black is definitely the way forward.

Phew! I sometimes forget that we come up as referrals and I'd hate for bloggers to get the wrong idea!

I had 'issues' with the mirror ball collection and that put me off. Shame considering MO were the polishes which got me into polishes!

Yeah, I have one of the Mirrorball ones - Freak Out - and while it's fun, it's not going to be a polish I wear over and over again.

I bought the whole collection. 2 are still sealed!

Definitely pink over black followed by aqua over black. Still not sure if I will buy

Thanks for the swatches Fundaflawless, I found them very useful.
All of these look like they may give a very similar effect to Color Club Covered In Diamonds which I have so can rein in my spending on this range I'm still tempted by the pink though, it seems to be a tad more sparkly than the rest?

I bought Aqua Splash and tried it on my thumb while I was removing another mani but haven't used it properly yet. I have serious issues with polishes that are coloured in the bottle but not on the nail! I knew it wouldn't be, and I'm aware they need to make their polishes look appealing on the shelf, but I feel ripped off
