Striping tape

Post  SueD on Wed May 01, 2013 8:32 am

Is it available in different widths? The one I've used this evening broke a couple of times as it was so thin . I only bought cheap stuff from Amazon, are more expensive ones any better (they all look pretty much the same in the photos!)?

I've only ever seen the one width. The ones I've got were only cheap, from Born Pretty if I remember rightly, or maybe ebay. I've used it quite a lot and its never broken. The white tape frays at the edges a bit but the other colours don't seem to.

I've only ever used cheap stuff, from Amazon and it's been ok, the shiny ones sometimes transfer onto my nails if I'm not careful. For a thicker width I sometimes use straight nail guides and carefully cut them to the width I want.

Yeah I was wondering if you could get thicker stuff, cos it annoys me having to stick stripes together lol

That's what I don't fancy doing Laura!
And I think some of the shiny one I used last night transferred as I have silvery bits in my orange lines Sad It's coming off later,it's driving me up the wall as it's so messy!

I bought some, and I wasn't expecting it to be the same width as dental tape! Can't see me persevering with this at all Rolling Eyes
