Barry M withdrawn at Boots?

This is all a bit odd isn't it?

My Boots have been stripped of Barry M with a "Barry M are currently investigating the quality of their nail polish. For that reason ALL Barry M polish has been removed from sale until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused"

Apparently it's because of bottles over filling and cracking, but it seems a bit odd that it's just Boots affected, and it's affected every single bottle...

Yes, I heard about this as well. All seems a bit odd!!

When I went into mine on Sunday all the polish shelves were empty but there wasn't a sign up,now I know why! I thought it a bit strange that they could run out of evry single colour!

They're all showing as currently out of stock on the Boots website too. Is it just the nail polish that has been removed or all Barry M products?

seems odd its not effected Superdrug. And that notice sounds like a dig at Barry M, why not say there is a problem with current Barry M bottels in certain batches and as such have removed until further investigation from Barry M. Something like that sounds nicer.

The cynic in me, would say its a cover up about an argument about money. I'm in a cynical mood today, work makes me that way sometimes, ''i see shadows everywhere'' lol

the pens still show in stock. Must have been a bad batch just for boots!

I asked about this on facebook. Barry M said that there was a possibility that some bottles had been overfilled and would break. Therefore they had to recall them.

Hope they come back soon- I love getti g my Barry m from there, I rack up boots quickly due to the kids.

Today on Barry M's Facebook page they have posted about their confetti polishes and said they will be in Superdrug on the 5th of June and in Boots on the 12th so they must still be selling Barry M products, though not sure why the difference in date ?
