What's On Your Mind?
I've seen this on some other forums I've been on, just a thread to sort of think out loud or partake in some general chatter.
Well the boyfriend and I are supposed to be going on a last minute date but honestly I don't think anyone has ever taken so long to shave their face. And he says I'm bad!

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Oooh nice thread idea
In between watching zombies and the very sexy Andrew Lincoln (the walking dead) and now vampires and the sexy Stephan (vamp diaries) I'm pricing up some sailing, and whether to take up a maybe discounted offer to do an expensive but amazing race - and how this will impact my polish buying and general being able to eat/live/exist over the next few months.
Its a tough Friday night in Casa NJ
Where's the date going to be?

anything with zombies or vampires on there?? I wonder why I've not slept well all week and think now its the binging on zombies till 12 most nights. Boxset downloads are bad, even when I've been out, I watch an episode (or 2..) when I get in
Re: What's On Your Mind?
Andrew Lincoln. Anyone else old enough to have seen This Life? Magic TV.
What's on my mind........I'm full of holiday prep, it's a whole different ball game when dealing with a family of 8. Baby, a toddler, a pre-schooler, a six year old, a nine year old (who looks 6), and an 11 year old. So much to pack, and all the self catering stuff too. And bedding, we take our own bedding (not a hygiene freak, it's bloody expensive to hire!). It'll all be worth it, it always is
I'm also thinking big week at school next week, one doing QCAs, two taking SATS. My son has been told he has the opportunity to make school history by scoring a 6 in all subjects. No pressure then kid......
Oooh, I love a good ramble!

Nope, I hate blood and gore! I have lots of random stuff like Girls, Idiot Abroad 3, Don't Tell The Bride, The Voice, Derren Brown, documentaries and some films.ninjajane wrote:anything with zombies or vampires on there??Babafette wrote:I'm thinking that I really ought to be watching some of the stuff on my Sky+ box. Yes, I absolutely loved it (and Jack Davenport - see the celebrity crushes thread). The This Life +10 reunion episode was such a let down.LoolaBeanbag wrote:Andrew Lincoln. Anyone else old enough to have seen This Life? Magic TV.

I didn't used to iron, At all, ever, until the first of the small people started school. I have an industrial ironing machine now and have become quite anal about my laundry - watch out Laura, it'll get you in the end.........!

Re: What's On Your Mind?
I've only ever ironed the odd shirt for job interviews in the past. But the cute printed style blouses have removed that problem, they just don't crease. I don't even own an ironing board. Ironing sucks.
Re: What's On Your Mind?
Sat downstairs on my own watching some TV. Am sat here alone once again this morning.Laura wrote:What did everyone do this Friday night?

Thanks, I can't remember where I found it, but it made me laugh so I saved it. Unfortunately I haven't got a cat or a dog, it's just not practical when we travel between London and Devon so much.Laura wrote:Your picture always tickles me Babs. Is it your cat or a random one from Google?
I'm feeling fed up today - this means I must stay away from eBay and shopping sites.

OH is on my case at the moment and nothing I do is right. He decided to strip and paint some of the woodwork on the outside of the house today despite the fact that the paint stripper gun is not actually for outdoor use and it is raining on and off.Laura wrote:Yeah I'm feeling fed up too what's up?
Of course me pointing this out to him means I am simply too lazy to help and obviously trying to cause an argument......
How about you Laura?

Today is not a day for DIY it's been chucking it down, though that didn't stop the bloke in the house that backs on to mine hammering away in his garden all day. Driving me mental
Errrm I'm just upset with some friends really, we normally go out in London and hit cocktail bars together as 6 or 7 of us, though they've all gone down to Plymouth this weekend together without asking me so I'm feeling quite put out
