Cats are back!!
It's only bloody back at my local theatre end of October. I am so dipping into my savings for front row seats. So excited!!!

Poor Steve is already sick of me singing mungojerrie and rumpleteazer. Have warned him he has at least two months of this haha
Cats is really the only musical I've ever been drawn to though I do fancy wicked I have to say.
Re: Cats are back!!
I'm happy to and see most things (except the Spice Girls one ),but Wicked is the one I want to go back and see again as soon as I come out each time

I went to see that last year with my daughter (she is a total theatre geek!) just before it closed Actually it's lovely that theatre is her 'thing' as we go quite a bit now and I had no one to go with for years

We should arrange that The lead in We Will Rock You at the moment is rather lovely (and a very good singer;) ) Got to meet him at the stage door when my daughter went.I am not showing you the photo though, I look like the over excited middle aged woman that I was )

Re: Cats are back!!
I saw A Chorus Line at the beginning of July - it was fab !
Saddened to hear it is closing at the end of August.
Theatre shows wouldn't close if ticket prices weren't so high IMO.

Re: Cats are back!!
I do love the movie Rock of Ages actually, though I detest Tom Cruise. Ellie and I have a playlist of songs from the movie but we have the original ones not the stage versions. Nobody can sing Warrant as good as Warrant for me I'm afraid.
Wouldn't mind seeing it on stage though.
Did see a touring production of High School Musical with Ellie some years ago, she loved it, I was totally fascinated with the set changes whilst the action was going on. It was brilliantly executed.

Re: Cats are back!!
Rock Of Ages is at The Garrick theatre.I saw Chicago there,it was slightly spoilt by the rumbling from the underground ! I'd imagine Rock Of Ages probably drowns the noise out a bit more!

Re: Cats are back!!
I love love love musicals.
Currently I have tickets to see Blood Brothers in October. I have never seen it before which is surprising considering I am born and bred in Liverpool so I am very excited.
I have seen quite a few in London inc Rock of Ages Wicked and Lion King amongst others.
I also go to the Manchester theatre's and Liverpool empire
