Where do you hear about all these indies shoppingaddict and xoxo? Is it just from Etsy? It's dangerous you know, I'd never heard of Dollish Polish, JENsations or indies before I came on here.......

Re: What are you wearing today?
Blogs mainly! Found a lovely new one who was giving 40% off yesterday but I've already spent FAR too much money this month on polishes so I managed to resist and put the money I would have spent in my Xmas shopping fund. Which must not be used to by polishes!! I find browsing ninja or llarowe to see what brands they stock helps as well as the vast majority have their own etsy shops which are cheaper than them.
I just find it hard work memorising the time differences, for example is cst 6 or 7 hours behind?! (It's 6!)

I've just put on Barry M Amethyst Glitter. Now clearly I'm not going to be able to go to bed, because I'm too distracted by my nails (and the flat downstairs have got their washing machine on, how inconsiderate!).

Photo of OPI Pretty At The Premiere as promised. Slight tip wear and some scratches but it lasted nearly two weeks in the end.

I do tidy it up when it chips a bit, but I'm far too lazy to paint my nails every couple of days so I just have to make do!

I've never bought any from etsy (yet... )
Mine are mostly from FB when friends like the pages and I go "oooh sparkly...." and then end up with new polishes coming half an hour later
Dollish Polish make some gorgeous polishes but their stock levels drive me round the twist [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Excuse the tattyness, i've had it on all day and it's chipping terribly on the sides.

Also excuse the scratches over my hands - that'll teach me for trying to hide in bushes in carparks after too many vodkas.

I love this so much! Sparkles so much in the sun! I think photobucket as compressed it badly so the piccie doesn't look as good! China Glaze Fois Grai with HITS pink pop on top! Stunning!

I'm wearing Sinful Colors 'Aqua', which I got from Poundland. I love blue/green shimmers so this one is perfect. I have Models Own 'Blizzard' on my thumb and ring finger nails because I CBA to do the rest.

Re: What are you wearing today?
Tried Essie Clutch Me If You Can yesterday - a vampy jelly. Had an absolute disaster. Couldn't control it, was thick and gloopy and went EVERYwhere. Had two attempts, the second after adding some polish thinner. No luck, it went on slightly better but I woke up this morning with sheet marks, which I haven't experienced in years! Sorry Essie, not impressed with that one and feel a bit let down .
This evening after some dithering (and discovering that my nails and to a certain extent my fingers have been stained pink by the aforesaid vampy jelly disaster) I plumped for another Essie but one I know has a good formula: Demure Vixen.

Does anyone have a proven way of getting staining off? I read of the lemon juice/peroxide/bubbly white stuff things but nothing I've tried has ever worked and I end up covering up the whole time.

I was trying to hide to pee while everyone else was sat there chatting. Only due to consuming most of a litre of vodka I lost my balance, fell, and now have thorns in my bum and my hand is covered in scratches

Re: What are you wearing today?
Haha my friend fell in brambles once whilst trying to have a drunken wee in the bushes. She was covered in such awful cuts!
Re: What are you wearing today?
One of my friends went out in the garden to get some fresh air (try to sober up) after more glasses of wine than she could remember. She fell and got wedged between the shed and the fence. She was there for 20 minutes before her other half went looking for her. She had splinters and everything. LOL.
