IMO rose quartz is less holographic and the pink glitter is a different shade. I own both and was worried they would be too similar up I am happy there is enough of a difference. I found Barry M less dense and needed 2 coats whilst Opi was only one.

See the glitter in my Rose Quartz I think is very holo, it looks beautiful in the light.

Whilst I'm at it, here's yesterdays day old FF Winter Hyacinth, complete with significant tip wear despite wrapping it with the Seche. Raggedy cuticles still present, and hiding a torn one with index finger overlapped on the middle one. Classy.....!

One of my new purchases...I'm a Star Dot Com by Jindie Nails.

The pic doesn't do it justice (the silver glitter doesn't show up well). I did have to fish a little bit for the stars and I used a coat of white polish as the base in case it wasn't opaque enough. I like it though!

I didn't buy it when it came out because of the problems I had applying Candyland, I got so p'd orf with the extreme fishing that I came close to launching the bottle at the wall. How do you reckon a novice would manage with it? To qualify my novice status, have a look at my application of Winter Hyacinth above - notsohotso.......

Yeah I used two coats of Insta_Dry...might have just about got away with one.

Hmmm...well I have Candy Land too (yet to try that!). I don't claim to be a pro but it just took a little patience...which I didn't mind because I like the effect. Just had to dab it on a bit more and a lot of brush wiggling! Guess it's one for when I have a bit more time on my hands!

2 coats of Glitzology As You Wish over Nails Inc Cambridge, which is a pale purple. I love how sparkly this looks!

Two coats of Glitzology Nebula. They look a bit messy yet as havent cleaned it up yet. It looks more opaque in real life - I blame the camera flash. I like this, but imagined it as more sparkly.

I am wearing color club cloud nine, it's lush but I am not in the mood to take piccies tonight- damn germs again, the kids and I just seem to be passing it back to each other.

i think those roses are really pretty! I'm just not patient or steady handed enough for that kind of detail!

Nothing. My nose isn't running anymore but I haven't got the energy to do my nails. Hopefully tomorrow because my hands are itching. Just cba to get up off the sofa!! Lol

I freehanded the roses, the fun thing about them is you don't have to be very neat, you can just pretend any wonky bits were intentional.

I have just put some pink glitter on my tips like a reversed French manicure of sorts I guess... I used Nails Inc Buckingham Street.
