Re: What annoys you?
I'm getting so stressed out trying to call Nationwide
I went into my local branch and was sent away and told to call Head Office, so today I've called Head Office but I can't get through to anybody because the machine asks for a "Telephone Banking Pass Number" which I do not have as I've never signed up for Telephone Banking, I tweeted @AskNationwide asking what to do, they said press the * key to skip it, so I did that, only the robot told me she couldn't match it with my details, I tweeted them back, they haven't replied yet, I signed up for Telephone Banking but its going to take them 3 working days to send me a letter with the code I need, I JUST WANT TO FUCKING TALK TO SOMEONE WHY IS THIS SO FUCKING HARD?!?!?!

I've tried multiple times to call them, they ask for my card number and then this telephone number, I can't avoid it?

Re: What annoys you?
I'm all sorted now, thank you Sue!
They replied on Twitter after I told them I was getting really wound up and they gave me a number to take me straight through to an advisor (which I will save for future reference, let me know if you'd like it Sue lol) and they guy I spoke to was really lovely, he took £105 charges off my account.

The lady I spoke to was lovely too (I'd done a cheque from the wrong account and gone overdrawn) So glad I moved from the Halifax...I hated dealing with them!

It is rather crap yes and I think many people underestimate how debilitating it can be. Unfortunately like Laura I suffer nearly all year round as well as I am allergic to tree pollen, grass pollen and mould spores too.Jasmina wrote:It's poo isn't it?Babafette wrote:Tell me about it Jasmina! I also get tired and irritable - mother nature is out to get us lol.

Same here. Other people eating is a big one for me - not just the actual eating noises, but the clatter of cutlery against crockery drives me insane!

Another all-year-round hayfever sufferer here - no one believes I need to take antihistamines in December. I've found calling it perennial allergic rhinitis blinds them with long words and makes them less likely to question it

Re: What annoys you?
There's so much that annoys me, it's hard to know where to start!! I've got to agree with most of what everyone else has said (noises (particularly the roadworks right outside my office window), hayfever, bad grammar, misplaced apostrophes, rudeness, meanness, attention seeking etc) but I have a feeling this one might be controversial...
Skinny jeans. More specifically, the fact that it's virtually impossible to buy any other style. Most shops seem to have 18 variations on skinny jeans, and maybe one bootcut style (which never fits because it's been designed for women with thighs the size of twigs). When are flares coming back!?!

Me neither. Waist totally out of proportion to fat arse and thunder thighs in my case

I've got a gigantic arse, anything that fits there doesn't fit on the legs and I don't like trousers that are saggy round the backs of the legs :s

I didn't wear jeans for about 12 years.Laura wrote:I haven't been able to find a pair of jeans that fit me since I was about 16
Another one here who has problems finding jeans to fit. I too am short with a small waist but a rather generous arse and thunder thighs. I have been known to cry in the changing room on several occasions.LoolaBeanbag wrote:Me neither. Waist totally out of proportion to fat arse and thunder thighs in my case
