Re: What's On Your Mind?
I'm very confused. I bought a running watch off Amazon. Was dispatched from their premises in Bradford. It was the wrong product advertised so after weeks of emails they have finally sorted a refund. Instead of giving me a refund notice to return the watch to their premises in bradford, they have organised a DHL courier to send it to their premises in Hong Kong? how odd.
Re: What's On Your Mind?
I know Amazon sometimes source products from a company in one country in order to sell them in another, so maybe they were sending the misadvertised watch back to the company?ninjablossom wrote:I'm very confused. My fucking freezer is broken and I've just had to throw away 5 drawers of food.
No money to replace the freezer or the food, fun times ahead.

Well he has bursts of energy where he will run around like normal for a few minutes, then he just stops and lies down flat on his tummy like a dog and stays there for ages. he also has a sort of spasm going on his back legs.
Poor little thing, he is so sweet and I hate seeing him not well.

A bloke from the East Grinstead area has gone missing. Completely freaks me out how a person can just vanish, and you never expect it to be someone from your area.

Finished my third course of antibiotics now but my skin still has a purplish hue. How long did yours take to fade Sue? As you predicted, my skin has started peeling today............SueD wrote:How's the foot doing now? Re: What's On Your Mind?
I was wondering about your Babafoot - Husband has just gone to the out of hours doc with an infected wasp sting. The bugger got him over a week ago and he's not been right since, the area woke him up last night, sore red, swollen, itchy, spreading, etc. I reckon we've got a dodgy foreign strain of dirty wasps about this year!
That particular wasp will not be stinging anyone else though - I told him it was karma, if he'd let it live he'd have no ongoing problems
Goes well with our family sick bay, so far in the first week of the school hols we've had three strep throats (son was chundering at 3am last night/this morning with it), a tummy bug, two colds and now the dirty bite!!! Oh well, let's get it all out of the way before we head back to Holland I guess......!

I hope his clears up quicker than mine!
I might have to compile a small list in preparation for your return.

To be honest, I can't remember, sorry. But it was quite nice having baby soft skin on my feet again when the 'old ' stuff peeled off
And just another warning, once you've had cellulitis, you can have repeat infections I had a much milder repeat about 4 months later (just anti b's that time ,no hospital stays )

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Oh no, thanks for the warning. I was told I do have to keep a close eye on it and have to go straight back if I notice the redness or blisters coming back.
I'm already a bit paranoid to be honest.
