I'm feeling really drained now. I spent more or less an hour and a half this morning at the cinema blubbing through Song for Marion.

I broke down at work today (well at home after a shitty call with a roll up on the door step) need a new job, got 2 potentials so I'm dragging my feet on stuff I don't want to do in the hope I can leave in the next 6 weeks. I'm screwed if I don't get a new job!

I'm really upset for my cat. A few days ago she managed to scratch herself on the back of her neck, and now she's scratched open the wound again and it looks awful. We can't get her to the vet because she's petrified of going. Even picking her up, she's instantly on her guard because she associates it with being put in the cat carrier. Poor kitty

Can your vet not do a home visit? I know some do

Yeah most do but cost more

I don't know if my family can afford it but I know my dad will look it up. He's already researched some wound care. We love her to pieces but she is such a silly billy sometimes, hurting herself like that!

Just dont give her human painkillers (aspirin/paracetamol etc) as they can kill cats   try and keep it clean, dilute savlon or warm salt water if you have nothing else.
I have one of those lampshade collar things i could send if it would help?

I was going to suggest one of those collar things as well, if it wouldn't rub on the cut? Although the bruises we all had on our legs when the dog had one of those lol.

Wah, oh poor cat! It's so kind of you to offer to send the collar, the thing is it's right by the back of her neck where it would be fitted She's being a very brave and resilient kitty, I think my dad's trying to keep her cut clean and she's not being allowed out unsupervised in case she catched it or gets dirty.

Bacardi and coke   my main tipple, weird how some nights i can have a few and i still feel normal, other nights it really makes me feel squiffy  

Back to the cat problem, my cat in pic, Minstrel, was basically a tomcat, neutered as a kitten but had undescended testicle that they couldnt remove, so they removed the one but he basically remained a tomcat as such, was put on ovarid tablets, a hormone depresant, that kept him calmish  
Anyway he was always getting in fights and ending up with large abcesses, always on antibiotics, this particular time had large scab on neck, was hanging on by a thread, needed to take him to vets but scared he would rip it off while in cat carrier so just wrapped a bandage around it, looked like a bandana lol
Vet cut it off when we got there, soon healed, he didnt seem to care, cats are a lot stronger than we think

We're having a massive storm here at the moment, really heavy rain, thunder and lightning for the last 40 minutes and we've completely lost our Sky signal!

Looks like it rained here, but must have slept through it.

Today I declare war on bullshit, I'm not standing for it. Just declined a call that will be a waste of time and have informed a manager the real reason why his stuff is not getting done. If I was my own boss, I wouldn't tolerate me.

Oh bollox. Makes it even worse as you can't be all mean and hideous about the other person that got the job too

What makes it triple worse is I just got another rejection via email I hate today
