Mmm Baileys cake sounds lovely. I'm off to pour a glass of the leftover fizz - can't let it get flat now can I.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
I think we are going to need an ark soon. Not sure I remember ever havign this much rain for such a long period. I can see it gushing over the guttering again - that'll be a load of drowned plants I suspect.
I am very grateful we don't live anywhere prone to real flooding, and that the localised flooding that we had trying to get in the front door - caused by dodgy street drains - was fixed last year.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
drive this morning, i just had to turn around twice because of flooding and the bloody M25 was shut (although that wasn't flooding) and drive through some massive puddles. Can water damage your engine?
Re: What's On Your Mind?
It's a really crappy day here too. I'm just sitting on my own again doing nothing.

Depends on how deep the puddles were!!! Don't let it get anywhere near the air intake or else it won't breath. Petrol and water not a good mix either. And make sure you test your brakes after driving through deepish water.
Re: What's On Your Mind?
On an unrelated note we went to a mates house. First time we have been out on NYE for years. Had a right laugh. Anyone heard of chat roulette? Thats what we spent the evening doing. That and playing with inflatable cocks.
Had to walk home however and that seemed to sober us up a bit so no hangovers this morning! Result!!!!

AND we got home about 2 mins before the rain started. Its very wild here today. Luckily we live at the top of a hill so we would never get flooding unless the ice pack melted.

Well I thought it was a good price - £60.00 including the postage. It's a vintage black congo leather Mulberry Celia. OH bought me my first Mulberry, a black congo leather Bridget shoulder bag which I absolutely adored. Unfortunately the leather strap broke and I never got around to getting it repaired.

I have started to use Google Chrome and have just discovered the free games on the apps store. I am already addicted to Bejewelled.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Loo blocked - I think it was me clearing cat wee with some of that terribly expensive (and probably indestructible) kitchen paper and like a twat flushing it a few days ago.
Just spent a happy hour or so googling what to do then plunging with an old mop. Fingers crossed its worked!
If so I shall be inordinately proud of myself as I usually wimp out & leave things like taht for OH to do.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
LOLOL We have three loos in this house so if one blocked I'd just use one of the others until OH came home!!! It would probably be his crap that blocked it anyway.......
Re: What's On Your Mind?
why when people are sick in your house can’t they clean it up properly. Or at least tell you they haven’t so you don’t get a surprise the next day

Re: What's On Your Mind?
In our old flat we had a friend stay who was sick in the night and we found it after he went home. He was mortified as he didn't even remember doing it!
We were extremely drunk.
