Re: What's On Your Mind?
Was it Currys/PC World?
Same thing happened to me when I ordered a laptop for my dad before xmas. Verified By Visa automatically block any large transactions from Currys/PC World. You have to ring them and answer twenty questions, then they unblock it for you. V annoying!

I've resisted so far, but I'm on my own again this evening and I'm bored so I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hold out.Laura wrote:Did you buy anything Babs?

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Baba, for damage limitation purposes only have a look at these:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Amazon have loads of cheap decent stuff for a few quid, all with the free delivery over a tenner. A great way to fill an hour or so without breaking the bank. Filter by brand on the left hand side, Nubarfrom about £2.40, Zoya from £3, loads of China Glaze from £2 - £3. My top finds were the Zoya Liberty Pixie Dust at £5.19, Destiny at £4.61, Nubar Grapefruit cuticle oil at £3.96 (just used it, yum!), China Glaze Hang ten Toes £2.27 , Laylas from £1.80. Unfortunately the sort high - low is failing, so you may have to look at all the pages in a brand to see the best colours/prices and will have to google the shades as some of Amazon's pics are wrong, but I had a whale of a time with this the other night!
Happy shopping, let me know what you find! xxx

Re: What's On Your Mind?
We're having torrential rain here yet again. It has rained every single day so far this year and I'm so fed up with it.
We're supposed to be driving back to London this afternoon and I'm getting concerned the roads will be flooded.

Me neither. It was the first thing I thought about when I woke up this morning, wondering whether they'd found him yet. Very sad, poor little mite.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
It was the gasps from the people at the press conference when they announced they'd found a body got me.
