Re: What's On Your Mind?
I hope all is OK where you are Sarah. Have you seen the photos of the Tinside lido and what's left of the railway track at Dawlish?Sarah wrote:Horrendous weather here. Roads closed, trees down, train lines closed, floods on the main roads ugh!!
Was supposed to go get my hair cut this morning but there's no way I'm going out in this. We're expecting 70+mph winds soon and everywhere near the sea is already flooding and it's still an hour and a half til high tide.
We've been downgraded to Flood Alert now at least. I feel so sorry for the people who just keep being flooded.

All is ok-ish here. Very windy, lots of trees down went for a walk and saw the river earlier, looked crazy

Re: What's On Your Mind?
I'm feeling fed up. Apart from having to walk into town briefly to bank a cheque for work on Wednesday I've been stuck indoors for a week now and haven't seen anyone else. I was hoping to do a bit of work this morning and go somewhere this afternoon but have just been told by OH that he is going to have a bonfire this afternoon which of course means I'll be stuck here again all day on my own.

Models Own have shared my mani on their Facebook and Twitter. I'm properly chuffed but a bit surprised that they managed to find and link my blog post, Facebook page and personal Twitter account when I didn't give them any of those links. They must be bloody amazing detectives!

And it's great that they've credited me so thoroughly, I'm just not sure how they managed itHanSpan wrote:Geordie Nails wrote:Models Own have shared my mani on their Facebook and Twitter. Re: What's On Your Mind?
I suppose I could have done, but it was raining and there's only one place within walking distance. Plus he keeps ringing on the doorbell every so often asking for drinks, food etc.HanSpan wrote:Why can't you sod off out & leave him to his bonfire?
He did at least say we would go out somewhere tomorrow.

How many requests before you spat in his tea;)
Keep him to his word - make him take you somewhere nice, or womewhere that he will hate - polish shopping?

I'm at the BGT auditions at the Lowry Centre. Seen some freaks already and it's not started yet. This promises to be memorable

Nice haul Baba Slightly excited as I won the OPI Couture minis set last night. It's also available as the Go Goth collection which usually goes for more than I paid...I'll finally have Unripened...even if it is only a teaspoons worth!

Laura I think we're both on the pretty amazing end of Flappy Bird. I have an ongoing app rivalry with my best friend and her high score is 2

I can't stop thinking about all the poor people on the Somerset Levels who've had to leave their homes. It must be devastating.
My great-grandparents are buried in the churchyard at Moorland which is completely under water.
