What do we want?
So, next summer's OPIs aren't doing it for us, we don't like mylar, we're getting tired of textures, the mainstream duochromes aren't wowsers enough - so what would have us waving our wallets around like the mad women we are?!!
I need to have a long hard think about this one.........

Re: What do we want?
dunno some polishes catch my attention others are just meh. Theres too much choice... and indies that I really liked are just bringing out the same stuff again and again. I'm learning now to use the ones i have but in different combo's and use of matt on glitters etc.
I'm looking at the quirk polishes and its just 'meh more neon glitters' but I don't like the swatches much (sorry) the polishes look thick and there a sparse amount of glitter. Now pocket money polishes when nail runner did her swatches looked amazing and you could see there was some thought that went into the colour combo's and amount of glitter. They got my interest.
I just saw Glam Polish at that 'other' shop - and I went ooooh... dunno why but they look fab, unique and well done - or they just have decent swatches.
I like the ultra chromes, never seen anything like that before. I like my foils (zoya Crystal for example) and holo jellies and white or pale bases. But every new indie just seems to be bashing out glitter toppers and every main stream is re hashing textures or cremes and theres nothing unique... I need to be wowed.
Maybe we have been over saturated.

Re: What do we want?
Well.......
We've had glitters and neons and jellies and cremes,
Plus mattes, textureds, holos and other extremes,
Then duochromes, flakies, feathers and bling,
Surely that's just about everything?!?
From indies to OPIs and all in between,
What will come next remains to be seen.........

Re: What do we want?
fab Bab's!!
I know what I want... I want a really easy way to do water marbles in a mess free way out of a bottle. No water marble, no dry marble, just paint it on.
Thats what I want...

Re: What do we want?
Apart from the water marble in a bottle - wouldn't that be fab!
I want more temperature colour changers, and good quality ones with distinct difference in colour like the Russian ones - all the other's I've found are lacking in some way - wishy washy, or only change at extreme temperatures, or the difference is minimal, or the polish is really cheap crap! And not changing from or to bloody pink!
I'd just order more dance legends if so many weren't pink & something, nor so hard to get hold of!
Also round glitters - I really dislike bar glitters, am not that fond of odd shapes, and hexes are just boring, so I want some pretty polishes with just circles. Plus I want them in either one colour or at last one family of colours. I don't like multicoloureds and seriously hate the pink and green and orange and.......... mixed together It looks like its all made for teenagers! Something a bit more subtle please.
Ooh how about holo colour changing - that would really do it for me!!!

Re: What do we want?
I was wondering earlier what we'll be buying this season as we're not inpressed with the new lines coming out
I generally don't know what I want til I see it to be honest I do love glitter with a bit of 'depth' to it,anything that has me twirling my hands and staring at them all day is a good polish to me
But I'm not into big chunky sequins or neon glitters it has to said....
I'm impatiently waiting for the new Smitten holos, as I love the glitter polishes I have from her

Re: What do we want?
I'm just sick of all these faddy polishes - textures, feathers, mattes, every possible size and colour of glitter crammed in to one bottle. When you like doing nail art they're all just a bit useless. I'd just like companies to go back to producing pretty coloured polishes without all the gimmicks.
Re: What do we want?
Back to basics Sam. I see where you're coming from - I occasionally have to have a glitter detox and crave a neat glossy smooth crème

Re: What do we want?
We should commission an indie maker to make a collection of NPAA polishes lol. If we could actually decide just what it is we want, of course!
Re: What do we want?
I've decided - for me - big round glitter blobs in individual colours.
