Ok. I need to get this out.


I've lost all interest in doing my nails recently



How can I fix it? How can I get my polish addiction back? I MISS IT But every time I go to do my nails I think "Meh...." and don't bother. Last night I even went out with chipped and half nakey nails

I've even considered selling my whole collection


HELP ME LADIES. PLEASE.

Now that's a confession and a half! No wonder you feel bad! We should make a pledge, all of us, to never go out of the house with chipped nails. In fact, I might make a pledge thread, I can think of several.

Read through a few of the really good blogs, that should give you your mojo back. The Polished Perfectionist always inspires me, or my absolute favourite (though she seems to have stopped blogging now)...Chloe's Nails.

xoxo, have you looked through your collection recently. Could it be you need to just remind yourself how damn pretty some of the polishes are?

Sometimes I just browse, it makes me smile.

I look, I drool, I love buying pretties.... I just don't feel like putting them on my nails any more

I've checked my temperature, checked for sign of rashes and diseases, I even consulted Dr Google to see if he could find something terrible wrong with me - but nothing. So I'm ok otherwise

Good. Maybe you just need a time out? I know I get days when I need to do my nails due to chips etc but cannot be bothered. I have to be forced to do it. Feel better afterwards tho.

Mine have taken a slump recently too. The polish is on and off due to work shifts and they I struggle to come up with ideas and find all my colours exceedingly boring!!

I've even got a couple of stunning ones upstairs in the cupboard (MIL's xmas pressie) and even those are boring me.

It's horrible

I've even wandered around the shops looking at them all to try and find something new to make me love it again, but I just look at them and sigh and don't like any

How true, I do this too. Sometimes I can just sit there and look at a bottle of sparkly polish for minutes at a time while it catches the light.

I took out some nail art pens earlier, thought i'd have a go at something.... but no, I did one flower then nothing....

This is a sad day.

I think i'm going to sell some, generate some pennies and buy some new ones. See if that helps. I'm not giving up on my nails yet.

I did want some of your kleancolor but can't remember which. Would have to look at the group again. That might inspire you.

I think this could be a really good plan to help you feel more excited about them - go through, and with every nail polish, decide whether it's staying or going and why, it'll come easy to say 'go' with some but others you'll start to think about why you like it so much and you'll probably find that you feel excited and inspired to use it again
