Re: Latest purchases
I got OPI Black Spotted yesterday and the entire Mirrorball Collection from Models Own today.
Models Own annoy me a bit, whenever I order from them it takes a week to get to me!

I like the purple polish shoppingaddict, is it called Hocus Pocus? I also bought these for £1.00 each from Asda earlier this week too.

Re: Latest purchases
Cool I have 2 dupes today but still a total bargain. I randomly got object of envy in my beyond the mistletoe set last time, switched out for holiday splendor but I have china glaze Atlantis so wasn't too sad. Got another beyond the mistletoe (I think it is the colours are the same but it's hard to judge from different screen resolution) I like this colour so happy to have a back up though.
The worst thing in TKMaxx right now, some one has told them w7 is popular saw loads of sets for £19.99! Retail value £69.99! No blinking way. The multi sets of essie and opi where the same colours- good prices but I rarely buy stuff with the intention to sell on again, after fees on eBay seems like a hassle.

Re: Latest purchases
My husband is an enabler! ! Despite telling me no more polish there he was in tk maxx digging through the beauty section and holding up polish after polish. He eventually found the glitter vixen I was after then tried to persuade me towards some reduced essie but I was really good and stopped at the color club.

Thats the thing, he moans usually! But we'd been to get his haircut earlier and my hairdresser was explaining to him the world of difference between cheap polish and the likes of OPI etc so I think he took on board what she said. He knows how much the more expensive brands cost so I think he was enjoying finding a bargain bless him
He is quite good though, he's called me from Poundland on his lunch before and read out colours to me haha
Re: Latest purchases
My October newbies. These aren't all purchases, some were birthday gifts, but the process of lining them up for these pics made me think I shouldn't buy any more for a while

Please excuse the marks on the Ruby Glitter cap, the damn thing was already stuck shut when I received it
Although, now I've learned that running the cap under hot water for a few minutes will get a stuck one open

I'm guessing it probably wasn't deliberate, but I'm not sure what to do now. Ask the seller to refund it or just cough up and keep quiet?Jasmina wrote:How cheeky is that!

Drop them a quick email and see what they say! How much did they charge you for postage?

An extra £2.70 seems too much unless they charge silly money because it wasn't covered. Guessing they just dropped it in a postbox rather than go to the post office. Hope the seller refunds you, have you already left feedback?

Re: Latest purchases
No not yet, I haven't even picked the parcel up. I would contact the seller before leaving feedback anyway.Jasmina wrote:An extra £2.70 seems too much unless they charge silly money because it wasn't covered. Yes they do, so £1.70 extra postage plus £1.00 handling fee for the Post Office.shoppingaddict wrote:I think the post office add a 'fee' ontop as well as the postage unpaid.
