Do you notice any trends?

Mine is very bizarre. Tuesday the blog had a high hit count, nearly as much as the PP Revolution post. I only did a challenge and they don't normally spike the hits that much. Yet today I have 14 hits just on the archive page? but not much else where, very odd.

Some days I don't post for days, I don't read blogs, I don't comment or pimp the blog anywhere - and then I get another spike?

All very random.

Sadly my blog doesn't get much if any traffic so no I don't notice any spikes.

you should pimp it out on some of the facebook groups, done wonders for mine. Nearly 100 followers (combined twitter, blog lovin, email, WP reader)

I don't know why I'm interested in the hits, strange as it sounds I don't want to be a sample reviewer - I think its just nice to see them high some days

I'm on British bloggers but still no where near that figure! I'm clearly not interesting enough. But I don't mind too much. I've got a little corner of the net that's my own!

Has somebody posted a link to one of your posts maybe?

The other thing is referral spam - spoof hits which are just links to dodgy sites (usually russian) - filmhill.com is a common one. I got a whole bunch of hits from something called 'bestblogstories' last week and clicked the link thinking it was some sort of blog index, but it was just referral spam
