Horrible isn't it?! We went to a country fair and this guy was selling some really magnificent wood carvings. Ranging from super cute piglets to religious objects to wind chimes. He wanted this.

It's fecking massive, it's like a little person. How can I get rid of this without him noticing?!!

Literally wetting myself laughing here. I will try my best to do this, he's already done this to me once already. He'd put it in the door when I got home and it scared me hell out of me!

That is slightly scary. Paint the whole thing pink, or stage a burglary...

Give it a few weeks and I'll pay the cleaner to break it for me.........

If that was brought into my house it wouldn't last a week, the dog would eat it.

Whilst I can appreciate the skill that went into carving it, I think it's a bit creepy.  

I realy can't make my mind up. We have some odd things but nothing that big, and hairy. I think I'm leaning towards creepy too.

I think it's creepy and horrible too.

I'd put some clothes on him, give him a name and just make him comfortable! The more OH knows you dislike it, the more he'll love it

It's better that something my MIL once bought. Any of you remember the phase for 'crying children'? Stuffed clothes that looked like small kids crying in corners. She had one at the top of the stairs that was beyond freaky. No idea what happened to the thing but it was odd.

The one she had was a little girl with blonde hair. Looked a bit like Ellie from behind at the time. Thank God those went out of fashion.

As for the wooden guy, there is a shop in Tenby that sells those and I always go in and admire them. You could put a bow in its hair lmao

Have some friends round, get a load of booze down your necks and stage an 'accident'. Then you can say you were so drunk you don't know which one of your friends did it.

But you definitely need to do what SueD said. Or get up early one morning and put it in your bed in your place, so when he wakes up its head is on your pillow staring at him.

I am positive it is a garden ornament, and not supposed to be in your house.
