New Models Own collection

There's a new models own collection being released soon called Velvet Goth.
I found some swatches online.....not sure if I like them or not!

I want Absinthe for the name alone!

I really want absinthe just for the name too! The lovely colour is an added bonus (one of my favourite cocktails I make at home, I call a heeby-jeeby: absinthe & elderflower, & sometimes I add strawberry juice too).

They don't look that impressive, though I would consider Amethyst and Absinthe.

Yup, Absinthe and the purple- tres tasty.

They're "nice" but not terribly inspiring!

Absinthe is the nicest,but I could easily live without it.... 

Oh, i am quite excited about these! I don't have any sparkly/textured/matt polsihes yet though, I restrained from the Kiko ones. As long as they don't end up like the Barry M textured sparkle vomit effect then I'm in!

I got an email about them as well but I am going to wait for proper swatches they sound lovely but I want to wait and see

Nice, but not overly exciting.

Banger looks just like Freak Out! except with the substitution of bar glitter. Very meh.

bar glitter seems to be appearing everywhere. meh

But I quite like the velvet ones, I've been umming and arring about the Nail's inc jewel ones and the purple looks like an acceptable cheaper version with a top coat on and a velvet lid to boot, quite like the goldy one as well. Might be worth a £5 punt.

I've got one bar glitter in my collection and although it's a lovely holo, I can never get the bars to lay flat (even with a good coat of seche) and it drives my barmy!

Not sure if I'll get those but I'll probably pick up one or 2 of the goth ones.

I've got Amethyst from the Velvet Goth Collection and I like the look of the others, although they do bring the OPI Liquid Sands to mind. As for the new Fireworks collection, they look gorgeous in the bottle but I think the swatches look really disappointing.  

Yup swatches of the firework collection look really disappointing.

I got the amethyst goth - don't like the texture much, but added a matt topcoat which smooths it out a bit without making it look too different. Might have to go back for a couple of the others...
