Re: The Walking Dead
I just can't bring myself to watch The Walking Dead.
I hate blood and gore and I would probably end up too scared to go to the toilet on my own.

Tis not as gory as you would imagine, I mean yes there are moments but its more about the survival of the 'walking dead' rather than the zombies themselves.

Re: The Walking Dead
finishes series 1 on Saturday morning and working my way through 2. I REALLY need to not watch this in a house with only cats as the lack of human voices around and the occasional thumps is not doing me any good!

Don't blame you!
Re: The Walking Dead
loved that, especially the red-neck with a hipster hairstyle got series 2 finale left to watch, then think I'll have to find the rest of the series somewhere.

Good man! Several brownie points earned. Have you watched the season 2 finale yet?

Re: The Walking Dead
oh yes, and three episodes down of season three. They sure know how to make a good finale, enough of a cliff hanger to get you back next season but not cut too early so it just annoys you!

Re: The Walking Dead
I enjoyed season 2 more than season 3. Well "enjoyed" is probably the wrong word. It was unpleasant in places, season 2. The thing with Sophia, finding out she was in the barn, I didn't see that coming. And watching Shane slowly unravel wasn't pleasant. I was almost relieved when Rick killed him in the end. He'd become such a horrible character, he never recovered from killing Otis really.
It's a strange program I find, you get a few episodes where nothing much seems to happen, the story just trickles along, and then they hit you with something.

something = killing off half the cast. At a slow point so waiting for the next culling...

I don't know, I just saw [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] on Metro and thought of you guys. It says new episodes are on FOX less than 24 hours after the episodes air in America so that's OK.starrystarry wrote:I watch it on FOX on Sky. I presume Channel 5 are showing the older ones are they?

Re: The Walking Dead
Yup can't wait.
I really like how they are showing them so quick after the US debut. I don't know why we have to wait so long for other US dramas anyway! I mean True Blood has a gap of MONTHS before it gets shown here. Pisses me off no end. I used to download them but I hated watching them on my lappy so I stopped.
Very excited for the 10th. However I may just record them all in one block and watch at the end of the run. Or I might watch as they go, not sure yet.........!

Re: The Walking Dead
because nothing happens in a few episodes, I like watching them in 1 block. Also allows for a massive Lincoln fix - but not sure I could wait now. 10th Feb
Re: The Walking Dead
I'm a fan of waiting until they are all available and watching the series in a week (or less), but seeing as I don't have Sky it's not really an option for me anyway.
Hubby is away all day tomorrow so will finished series 3 then. Here's hoping that some daytime viewing will reducing my wuss-factor.

Re: The Walking Dead
The sound cut out 10 minutes before the end of the series 3 finale, noooooooooooooo! And I know something good is going to happen as I caught a snippet of the audio, which is a few minutes ahead. Hubby will be dispatched to rectify it this afternoon or I will have to hide his laptop/iPad/tv remote until he does. Unhappy me = unhappy him!
