Peeling base coats - for glitter - opinions?
I'm working my way through them all I think and having not alot of luck.
Etude: this lasts not even until the enxt day on me - nails ping off in my sleep (exactly the same effect as PVA glue).
Essence: Yuk! Its like chewing gum and doesn't peel off so much as need scratching off, although I did use it with normal polish so I do neet to try again. Its also a nightmare for cleanup as any bits sticking out won't come off with remover really.
Glitter-a-peel is currently on my nails with Dance Ledgend Prism Strutter over the top and it keep chipping! Again this isn't proper glitter polish - its flat - so I will find something all over glitter to have another go but I suspect this is going to do my head in too.
Oh & then there's Revolution that didn't really work for me either. I am hoping the Revolution will have another life as a foil topper. We shall see.
Are there any others? Has anyone else had any luck? I think I'll just go back to my regular base coat (Essie fill the gap) and suffer the annoyance of removal.
I'm about to ahve a clear out so most if not all of these will be on offer for others to have a go if you guys want - I've done a great job of selling them haven't I;)

Dance Legend do one, but again it's pva based with a fw chemicals thrown in.Didn't get to use mine as it had turned into a solid glue ball in transit and had to be binned...
There's a base called Yellow Stopper which I think can be used as a glitter base, and Glitter A-peel.Might be worth asking on Fb is anyone else has any experience of them?

Well all mine started to ping off in bits with the glitter-a-peel so, although its better than the Essence and the Etude I think its only really useful for blogging (which I don't) or a night out (which I don't either )
I feel I have to give it one good go with serious glitter then I think the lot will be up for grabs for anyone that wants to try them - even if its just for blogging maybe.

I absolutely love glitter polish and have loads, but I realise I hardly ever wear it because the removal really puts me off. I've never tried any of the special glitter base coats before.

I've always used the foil removal method which works really well...but does make the staining on my nails much worse I admit that if I know I'm changing my polish that evening, I start trying to peel it off myself a couple of hours before..

Need to pick a glitter to wear to have a go again with the glitter-a-peel but they all seem rather Christmassy.
