Pink October for Breast Cancer awareness?
I think I am going to take part in this, as I have a Great Aunt who is being effected by breast cancer for the second time, and whilst I can't do anything else to help, it means I have a bit of an outlet.
Anyone else care to join in?

I'm sure I'll take part in this too - albeit not on Facebook. I have lots of lovely pink polish!

Thank you, she is a lovely lady and its just rubbish.
I don't have any grandparents left, and my nan died the christmas before I got married. My auntie Sylvia and uncle George came to our very tiny wedding as almost my grandparents in reserve. Mean't alot to me.

Bump and a reminder for this. Anyone following Lady S's blog thread will have seen the sad news. Even more of a reason to take part I think xx

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's pink nails tomorrow! I need to have a rummage through my Helmer tonight and pick what to wear.

I'm wearing ruby pumps with a pink accent nail. I'll try to have at least one nail pink throughout the month.
My lovely grandma had breast cancer earlier on this year. She luckily got a all clear after an operation.

Day 4 in Pinktober, and I am afraid my day hasn't been good, although the polish is amazing!

Sorry to hear you've not had a good day Lady S. Tomorrow is a new day (and a new manicure! )
Today I'm wearing Kleancolor Holo Pink for Pinktober and I absolutely love it.

I don't own any Kleancolor, as there is always something else to buy, but they look lovely.
They smell don't they?

Re: Pink October for Breast Cancer awareness?
Other people have said that, but actually this one didn't smell at all as far as I could tell. I'm really pleased with it as each bottle only cost me £1.50.Lady S wrote:I don't own any Kleancolor, as there is always something else to buy, but they look lovely.

Mine didn't smell, but it certainly took a very, very long time to dry.

Re: Pink October for Breast Cancer awareness?
I got a few bottles of Kleancolor from Ebay, they dont smell too bad (not as bad as ChitChat) but the only one i've tried (Metallic Mango, i posted a pic on 'What are you wearing' thread) i only had on for 2 days max, and when i removed it, it left my nails an orange colour
I've used a couple of other polishes since and removed them but i still have a slight orange tint to my nails and yes i do use a base coat
