Re: Tumbleweed!
I've seen a lot of people moaning about the heat, especially bloggers.
I must be strange as I love it. I hate being cold.
OH has an australian passport as his father was born there and OH has been a few times on holidays and wants to move there. I'd love it for the weather.
Although he'd have to marry me first so that I could get an aussie passport as well but when I point this minor detail out he changes the subject quick enough. lol

Probably Loola, and the way my luck is going at the moment the bigamous bastard will be in the apartment above me with all seven wives and copious numbers of noisy children!!! Love the sunshine - makes everything seem better - even when it is sh*t!! Shoppingaddict (that could be my name too ) I hate being cold too, so loving this although don't really have the energy to do much - nothing to do with all the extra insulation I'm carrying

I love sunshine, but my body cannot handle heat at all. Stepping out of the house = instant red face and sweating, staying out = heat exhaustion!

Re: Tumbleweed!
I love the sunshine, I just don't love being stuck in a 30 degree office for most of the day!
Re: Tumbleweed!
As long as you don't complain about the cold
lol
I would very happily live somewhere where the temperature was 25 all year round. 30 is a little hot, but the winter was so, so long that I have no right complaining when I whinged about being cold for about 6 months!

Baba I just cackled loudly when I read your St Ives/Bigamous bastard comment
I'm another sun lover gimme the rays!!! I loathe the cold and would hibernate in winter if I could.

I love the sun too but it doesn't really like me. My skin isn't too good in the heat.

You get on well with your neighbours then Loola?
I have teenage boys next door, if I was to get my white bits out they'd be put off women for life!

Re: Tumbleweed!
I think my skin must have finally produced enough melanin to cope with the sun. Last time I sat outside for lunch I didn't burn ANYWHERE (not even my scalp, and that burns from about March onwards). Happy days.

It's so true! It doesn't look like we've had any post at all today and I am gutted. But who knows, maybe the postie stopped for a bacon sandwich and he's still on the way...starrystarry wrote:We're all sat by the front door waiting for our MoYou plates.

Re: Tumbleweed!
Postman's been - no plates
I had three children arguing over who was going to have the last tortilla so I asked him to simply pick an initial - A, J or K. He was somewhat bemused but my youngest daughter was a happy winner
