Beautybay.com
Hi,
Has anyone bought from here? Nails inc is on offer atm, roughly a quarter to a third off normal prices '' Free delivery if you're prepared to wait for them.
I'm going to give it a go, will report back on how it goes ''

Re: Beautybay.com
Oddly I ordered from them on Sunday. Order dispatched yesterday so hopefully will be here tomorrow
Re: Beautybay.com
Does anyone know if they accept paypal? The site says they do, but when I try to place an order, all I get is the option to enter my card details.

Re: Beautybay.com
I actually wanted to pay on paypal but as far as I could see there wasn't the option for that so I ended up paying on card. Annoying as I wanted to use my balance.
Re: Beautybay.com
exactly why I want to use paypal I've emailed them to ask...

Re: Beautybay.com
if you've got your bank account linked to paypal you can transfer your paypal balance straight to your bank anyway (takes a max of 2hrs to clear but its usually instant) so you can still use your paypal pennies

Re: Beautybay.com
true, but I shouldn't have to - the site has the paypal logo - so I should be able to use paypal! It's become a matter of principle...

Re: Beautybay.com
ok, finally heard back from their customer service people. You can use paypal, but only for orders over £30. Only wanted a couple of things and I can get them for pretty much the same price from some of the US sellers on ebay - so that's the plan

Re: Beautybay.com
Was just coming to post that! It's in the FAQ:
In other news, my order arrived this morning. I ordered 1 x Seche Vite Restore and 1 x Seche Vite Topcoat, they have sent me 2 topcoats by accident.
Have contacted them so I'll update how it goes
To pay with Paypal, your order must be be over £30 and all the items in your basket must be in stock. If your order does not meet these two conditions,
the option to pay with Paypal will not be available.
For qualifying orders, the Paypal button will appear at the Payment page - simply click the button to be redirected to Paypal to complete your transaction.

Re: Beautybay.com
Still no reply to my emails asking where we go from here! I'm a bit desperate for the seche restore as well booooo
Re: Beautybay.com
AVOID!!!!
Don't deal with these people. Still no reply to several emails about my order and I'm still to actually receive what I paid for. Not at all happy really.

Re: Beautybay.com
have you tried phoning them and shouting at them letting them resolve the problem?

Had an email this afternoon where they want me to pack up the wrong product (My packaging materials), print off a label (my printer ink) and trek to the post office (my petrol, my time, my parking costs) to return. When they receive the packet only then will they send my original order.
I have come to the conclusion that they can stick it. I'll keep the extra topcoat they sent and just buy a restore from elsewhere. I don't have the time or the inclination to be running around the city for their mistake.
Poor customer service really.
Re: Beautybay.com
Sorry you had to deal with them, but I'm glad I didn't order from them now. Ordered the seche restore I wanted from a US ebay seller - and accidentally added a couple of china glaze and a couple of color club to make the postage worthwhile All five for just over £20 - just hope I don't get slammed with customs charges!

Re: Beautybay.com
pulliptears, that is appalling customer service... I once ordered a box of chocolates (amongst other things for Christmas presents) from Debenhams and when they arrived half of them were missing! I called up to complain (obviously) and they said if I sent them back I could get a refund, which I just thought was ridiculous...
Re: Beautybay.com
Well, the plot thickens. I've now had another message apologising and telling me that the correct item is now on its way. Very odd indeed but great if true.
Should it arrive I will of course pay for the extra topcoat they sent.
Will keep you updated

Re: Beautybay.com
That's great, I hope they've finally come up trumps for you!
I was a little surprised and embarrassed at the poor customer service as I was one of the ladies who recommended them. I've ordered from them a few times now and have never had any problems before, so hopefully your issue will soon be sorted satisfactorily.

Oh goodness dont worry about it! It's not your fault. To be honest I'd ordered before I'd even seen this thread anyway. If I do receive my restore then my faith will probably be 'restored' in them...... bad pun haha
Re: Beautybay.com
I too recomended them but I've never had any problem with the original order so haven't had to complain.
It seems you often find out the hard way about poor customer service only when something goes awry.
Hope they fix it AND don't charge you for the extra top coat for messing you about!
