Suggestions for wedding day nails?

Hey girls,
I'm getting married in April, but have no idea what to do with my nails on the day! I want something quite simple, so no stamping or nail art, but don't just want a standard French manicure. Any suggestions?

I have an ivory lace dress. Bridesmaids are in pink and silver. Flowers are light and dark pink and cream

what about an ivory colour polish then with one of the shimmery topcoat type things (like dollish polish aurora borealis) that has a pinky silvery colour to the shimmer to tie in with your flowers? Nice and simple but looks fab when the light catches it?

Do you like glitter and holographic polish or are you aiming to keep your nails more muted?

I would go with an off white, or pale silver, and put something like Ninja polish love, lace and lawsuits over the top. Then I would mattify it, so the glitter shows up.

I will give it a go later and see what I come up with.

Needless to say I won't! I'm wearing a dark forest green dress - Registry office so no meringue this time so I'll probably go with China Glaze Emerald Sparkle and maybe a silver stamp on top.

Must admit the dawn of the dead nails are ace. Although if we are going on childrens suggestions my stepson came to our wedding as a thomas the tank engine. Pageboy.

I did this recently, and was wondering whether you could do a french manicure with a twist, say with gold / pink / silver tips, and maybe an accent nail (ring finger) with some diamantes along the ridge?

I do like the idea of diamantes think I need to buy more polishes and have a play around with some of these ideas (not that I need an excuse to buy more haha)
