Hey guys Very Happy

I know what "indie" means but I see it thrown around quite a lot... was interested to see what was on offer here.

What brands class as indie? I'd like to have a look if I'm cool enough lol Embarassed

Anyone to avoid?

I've never tried any of the indie brands either, don't really know where to start. Some of the pics posted on here are fab though. Do most of you buy them from etsy?

When I graduate and get a job indie polishes are top of my list to buy! There are some simply stunning ones out there. I'd love to set up my own line but it's hard to get hold of the stuff to make it with!

I like a lot of the indie polishes that I've seen but I just try to make something similar myself simply by layering different polishes and effects.

My last attempt featured OPI I Have a Herring Problem layered with Barry M Limited Edition Silver Glitter and NYC Lights-Camera-Glitter. I was so enamoured with it I wore it for nearly three weeks! Laughing I'll post some pictures when I'm back in Devon.

I have bought some quite a few in the past from Lush Lacquer (Etsy) they are US based but ship over here, it is usually worth paying as the polishes are so beautiful and normally I'll get a few friends to join in ordering stuff so it only works out about £6/7 a bottle.

I've had a few from Pretty & Polished before as well (again US based) and they are lovely.

I'm not aware of many, I know there is A-England, but I've never tried them. I just usually go and splurge on Etsy and then pretend I don't know how much it really was because it was in dollars Wink

I haven't etsied yet, but am eyeing up a few from Glitzology on there - they usually have an offer of some kind on too (currently 40% off, was 50 before Christmas though - not that I'm stalking..!)
Now this one of theirs I really like....
