So many books, so little time
Oh dear, I've just totted up my list of to reads/reading...
To read:
Ulysses
The Suspicions of Mr Whicher
The Book Thief
Nella's Last War
The 100 Year Man Who Jumped Out the Window...
Wasted
Winter in Madrid
The Colour of Magic
Currently reading:
The Thirty Nine Steps
Les Miserables
Girl 99
Weird Sisters
House of Leaves (doubt I'll ever finish this to be honest, it's terrifying )
Nothing to Envy
Alice in Wonderland
And I'm browsing Amazon for more Help! I can't be the only one with a book list as long as their arm, right?

Re: So many books, so little time
I used to read loads but unfortuantley I don't get a huge amount of time. However I am currently reading letters from Mitford sisters, which is quite hard going...
Re: So many books, so little time
I've seriously got about 100 books still to read. I do love reading, but I just don't get the time anymore.
I'm one of those people that likes to pick up a book and read it from cover to cover in one go rather than just dipping in and out and unfortunately that's just not practical for me.

Oh, who's that by?Lady S wrote:If you haven't read it, I can only suggest the millenium triology
I've found another I want to download - The Hangmans Daughter. Read the sample earlier and it's really captivating!
Re: So many books, so little time
Do you not get confused reading so many at once?
I struggle with one at a time

Re: So many books, so little time
Haha I couldn't handle more than one at a time! I have over 200 books I haven't read on my Kindle at the moment though...I've had to start ignoring my emails with the free books that day, because it's just getting out of hand.
Re: So many books, so little time
Well I've finished Girl 99 and The 39 Steps, moved onto The Book Thief and Tess of the D'urbyvilles or however you spell it! Got a three hour train journey and a first class seat tomorrow so I shall be cracking on
Re: So many books, so little time
I'm on my 3rd book this week
Mostly trashy stuff of late, this is my goodreads profile if anyone wants to be friends?

If you aren't a member you should be! Brilliant site, especially as you can find books similar to ones you enjoy.
I've just finished one of the best books I have read in quite some time called 'How to Kill a Rockstar'. I cried and cried through the end of that lol.

Re: So many books, so little time
I think my unreads run into hundreds as I have a kindle and last time I counted I also have between 50-100 unread paperbacks
When I read I read a lot but due to being ill I havent been able to concentrate much I am hoping that I can start reading again now that things have settled down health wise
