No No No!!! I just had to shut Youtube down, these videos are a) addictive, b)potentially the start of the road to financial ruin!!!

Mrsmoore2b, I am in awe of the holo layers and of the vids in general. I had always thought of Laylas as the ultimate - I was happy with the effect and I didn't think that any others could surpass them. So now I need Color Clubs and Jades.

Ah thankyou I love my Layla's, I turn to them when I want a lightening fast mani as with the nfu oh aqua base ( well worth the money, barely made a dint in mine as you can get away with the thinnest of coats) it glides on and is dry in 10 minutes flat and I'm done! Think I have 14 of them now :-/ the jades are fantastic, great wear time, no messing around with different basecoats and as we have discovered can be layered to create a rainbow of shades! All I can say is thank The Lord we have Sally's now to buy them from for little more than a revlon in boots!

I think you need to invoke the "I can't do washing up because it will ruin my art" rule. This is in action at my house. It also means I can't hoover, do washing, etc...

Unfortunately I have to stick to single shades for my toes as I can't bend in the middle for too long because my vast t*tties'n tum get in the way and I end up squashing something

Hahaha you lucky lady the pedis are a new challenge I set myself in the new year so I could take full advantage of my holos and stash

How the hell do you have the patience and skill to do nail art on your toes?

I need to paint my toes again - I had a rare pedicure in a salon about three weeks ago and she cut my big toenails too short for my liking. The polish all got smudged and then I had to go home and cut the other nails as she left them longer and I thought it looked stupid. Don't you just hate it when you go for a treatment and then wished you hadn't because you could do it just as well at home for far less money?!? Or is it just me?

I love the pedis, toenails are soooo unattractive without polish. Do you do toes as often as fingers? surely it must take a lot more effort.

Nope Babafette, I trim my own fringe, colour my own hair (have done ever since a traumatic experience in Toni & Guy many years ago!) and haven't been inside a hairdressers since 2011!
I often think I should go to a nail bar thingie to have a mani and get my crappy cuticles sorted and my nails shaped and then am filled with the fear of seeing a miniscule polish range to choose from at the end!!

It's much easier to do on toes than your fingers, well for me anyway! Yeah I'd like to go for a pedi but worried they would butcher me and I'm happy with what I have achieved myself x

No only do my toes every 7-10 days, I usually do it when my lil one goes to bed x

Love the Layla Emerald, I have it but can't get it to last long without chipping

No I don't expect a great length of time off my Layla's, usually a good 24 hrs if I'm lucky but they are always what I turn too when I'm in a rush and don't have time to wait for normal polish to dry x
