Kiko Gel look top coat
I've just had a quick play with this as I know a couple of people were interested in it.
I've put 3 coats on top of a Mariah carey Liquid Sand polish and it is now shiny (I tried about 5 coats of OPI & Barry M previously which made hardly any difference!)
On top of a normal polish it didn't seem any shinier than the OPI Rapid Dry top coat that I usually use,but it would be a cheaper option if you're buying it in store I haven't done a full mani with it yet but I will take photos when I do:)
Edited to add,I've just been able to peel off the liquid sand nail ,over an hour after painting it as it was still soft I'll see how it goes over some Kiko polish this evening and report back!

Re: Kiko Gel look top coat
Happy to report that I had much better results this evening using this with a Kiko polish I used the Avon freeze dry spray as I usually do after top coat and it dried quickly I did alternate nails with my usual OPI rapid dry and shine wise I can't see any difference. The Kiko is much cheaper though, although I did find it quite thick.I will take a photo tomorrow in daylight to share :-)

Thanks for the update, I don't use freeze spray so will give this product a miss.

Thanks SueD, I have a bottle waiting for Mother's Day so will give it a go soon. Does the Avon freeze spray penetrate right through, or only affect the top layer (leaving the rest soft)?

Um,I think it pretty much dries all the layers? Though depending on how thick/gloopy the polish I've used is I can sometimes still dent them.
It may be the Kiko dries quickly on its own,I just used the Avon spray out of habit (and because I'm impatient!)

Re: Kiko Gel look top coat
Thanks Sue, I rely heavily on Seche Vite usually and I'm happy with it - especially as it gives me 'dink free' nails in about 10 minutes. I wanted to try the Kiko though, but if it takes as long as the OPI top coat that I had I may not get on all that well with it. I'll give it a go though! I also have the essence gel look top coat to try too.

Re: Kiko Gel look top coat
Did you try the top coat alone at all? What was the final verdict? I get to Italy on Sunday so just preparing my shopping list (currently by the pool and shopping for polish, I really do have a problem ) any other recommendations from Kiko?
Re: Kiko Gel look top coat
I've not got round to trying it on it's own yet ,sorry
The Kiko Sugar Mat's are quite nice and some of the micro glitters if they have them Loola might be more help as I know she's ordered from them recently I sat for ages looking at swatches on line before I ordered, I'm sure I would have chosen different ones if I'd seen them in real life!

I think the matts are a defo might take a punt on the top coat then still cheaper than nails inc.

I haven't used my Kiko gel top coat yet either, I swatched it and I wasn't wowed.
My top purchases with my last order were the sugar mats, I had the green and the poppy colour, both are amazeballs and I prefer them to the OPI sands. I also bought the celebration colours in green, pink and blue and the green is gorgeous (the others are lovely too). I wasn't so keen on the violet microglitter - the base seems to thick to allow the glitters to shine, and it's not very glossy either.
I am totally in love with the amethyst sparkle touch, and I have the turquoise microglitter too - like but not love.
I've also got a few numbers on my hitlist that don't seem to be available online, 231 (a flakie), 232 (a gold sparkle touch) and 237 (a reddish sparkly). Then 270 a clear sequinny iridescent glitter, and 234 which is a pinky sparkly suggested an a dupe for one of the ozotic sugars.
Happy shopping, wish I was going to Kiko too!!!
