One is Zoya, the other is from Superdrug. Which is which, which do you prefer and would you deem the cheaper one as an acceptable alternative?!!
(Picture taken without flash, in natural daylight.)
Fun eh?!!

I've gone for the one on the right. A complete guess as they look identical to me. I imagine you can tell the difference in the application though.

I think one of the right purely because the shimmer is evident throughout whereas the left one isnt as uniform.

the one on the right is Zoya - same reason, looks more uniform. But then again could just be the picture lighting as they seem identical.
When is the reveal?

Gosh, they look identical to me. At a complete guess I'd go with the other ladies and say the one on the right as the coverage does look more even. However, that may be a trick of the light. I'm hedging my bets........!

Babafette, you must have a degree in polishtry! Spot on with the makes.
The one on the right is Zoya Charla, the left is Mystical Dragon.
I had to label the wheel (under the plate covering the mark)as they were so close, almost exact. The Zoya was actually streakier and thinner and needed four coats to match the cheaper one. I paid £2.50 for it when they were half price, they're now 2 for £6. I also looked at the purple 'Vivid dream' but it wasn't as special, just a purple pearly.
I'm currently filling another online basket with Superdrug, anybody got any recommendations?

The Accessorize is a dupe too: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Though its not surprising, as FashionistA and Accessorize beauty are made by the same company (as well as MUA, Look Beauty, Vivo and Famous). But the MUA isn't a dupe, but it is similar, and I had it on yesterday.
The accessorize is defo the same Product as the FashionistA though. I've always wanted Charla, and I had no idea I had a dupe already.

It's a popular dupe- opi have catch me in your net and orly have halley's comet.
I wanted the opi one but managed to get orly version.
My new sinful colors kissy is almost perfect dupe too.
It is stunning.

Re: Which one's the Zoya? Place your bets......!
Thanks for that info on Accessorize and Fashionista Muffy, I had no idea that they were all the same. I was looking at Accessorize mermaid last night, so a few quid saved there, thanks again!
I also have Kissy en route from Boots Jasmina, so it looks like I'll have several all very similar - I have Orly Peacock too, which is close.
I love this flecky metallicy finish and am looking for a purple too - the best I have at the mo is the Rimmel Baby Bellini but I'm not too keen on the formula. I'm looking at OPI a Grape Fit, but I'd rather find a cheaper dupe if anyone knows of one. Or a dupe for Zoya Ivanka, similar finish but in green?

Zoya Mimi fits the bill for metallic finish with glass flecks but it isn't the cheapest to get hold of, even American Ebay is expensive for Zoya.
OPI grape...set...Match is good aswell but not really small budget price.

Thanks so much Jasmina, you're a star! I've been thinking about Mimi since it appeared in your latest purchases pic a while back. The Catrice is interesting too, and although lighter I'm still fancying Zoya Danii. Decisions decisions.......!

If the Zoya and Superdrug ones are anything like OPI Catch Me In Your Net they'll be a b*gger to remove. It puts me off using the OPI one too often.

Posted that the other day, there is practically no difference in quality either in my opinion. (I have both and they swatched equally nicely)Muffy wrote:Just found another dupe: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
£1.99 from Boots.

Re: Which one's the Zoya? Place your bets......!
I put the Sinful (Kissy) next to the Zoya and Fashionista on my little wheel - Kissy looks ever so slightly different to the other two, in a good way! It has marginally bigger sparkly bits which are a tad greenier than the Z and F. The F is still the most opaque and in my opinion easiest to use but the Sinful is very similar in composition to the Zoya. I also put my beloved Avon Sequined Turquoise on the wheel, it was similar to Kissy but slightly greenier. I'd rate them (ignoring the price) as Fashionista in first, then the Sinful, then Avon and Zoya last!! Feeling like a turquoise glass fleck anorak now!

Anorak away...
... I was going to get Zoya Charla but wasn't prepared to pay £10.50 for something I know is a dupe from my collection.
I am a bit annoyed I bought the sinful colors as I could have got a different one in my order, it didn't even occur to me when I ordered it and I looked at swatches before selecting. I suppose it confirms I really love the colour rather than buying stuff on a whim.
I am still desperate for hottie though as OPI last friday night is going to be so hard to replace, it puts me off using it in all honesty because I know I will be so sad once it is all gone. This is a reason OPI really bug me, they are too quick to discontinue and do limited edition products. Their soft shade range is practically identical and readily available but the real stunning stuff disappears. I would pay huge amounts for a genuine DS holo but don't want to risk getting a fake.
