Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
OH is away on a stag weekend! So tomorrow I'm goin to London with my mates, Saturday (hangover dependant although I doubt I'll drink) I'd like to go to a vintage fair a short drive away. Then on Sunday I may do some housework. Monday will be a play it be ear day!
Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
Nothing yet, DH wanted to go to a fair on Sunday but I have a feeling the weather will be totally naff.
We will do a lot of baking to keep us entertained and go over to my dad's Sunday afternoon but that'a about it so far.
If the weather was better I would have loved to taken them to the seaside on Monday

Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
I'm on three weeks Easter break from uni... but when I go back I have to hand in:
Hand in my 6000 word dissertation
Hand in and present a 1000 word poster
Retake an exam (worth 70%)
Take another exam (worth 60%)
Take another exam (worth 30%)
Write a 1500 management report
Also got to apply for jobs, find a flat and go to three birthday parties!
So Easter is going to be busy XD

I start my RYA 1 & 2 dingy course in a few weeks I may come to you for tips! Really excited, did my day skipper last year so hoping dingys will help my sail trimming etc
I'm in abh dhabi and then Rome for Easter. lovey to get some sun and excited about the colosseum but just having to bite my tongue a lot as my friend wants to plan every detail and always has to be right about everything (and when she's wrong it's then excuses about how she would be right 'if') Strange what you notice about people/friends you've known for years when you travel with them. I'm more see what happens, ask the locals and wing it. I'm probably annoying the hell out of her!
Kissmenow that sounds like a hard core studying weekend, make ure you fit chocolate in!
Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
I’d really like to do day skipper all my experience has been in little dinghies on lakes. You should have no problem with your level 1 and 2 its lots of fun hopefully it will be a lot warmer by the time you do the course.
Sadly sailing dinghys and nail varnish don’t mix very well the only time i’ve managed to keep my nails nice is when I have had gel nails

Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
I'm working I forgot all about Easter when I planned my launch date and it's Monday so lots to do! Hopefully I'll see my sister and get to spend some time with my fiancé later in April though and we can eat Easter eggs and stuff, until then I'll live vicariously through all of you and read about your exciting plans!

Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
Ah that's no fun I'm going to delay Easter in my house until I can sit on the sofa and eat mini eggs until I can turn into one
Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
Going to my parents and setting an egg hunt for 5 adults in the back garden we get properly competitive and it really is finders keepers on all chocolate. Looked like a right pig in Asda with a trolley full of choccie eggs.
If it snows again we'll make snow bunnies.

Oh I found that last summer when I went to Amsterdam with my friend - she wanted to plan things down to the minute whilst I was happy to just chill out and relax in the lovely hot sun! I haven't spoken to her properly since... whoops.
Sounds hard core, in reality I'm off shopping this afternoon and I've only done about 2000 words on all the work
Re: Any nice plans for Easter?
We went out for dinner in a Greek restaurant last night which was good. And I started the box of lindt chocs - yummm!
We don't buy eggs anymore as I've become a bit of a chocolate snob, but I do often buy expensive ones reduced after. For those postponing Easter have a look at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] easter eggs are getting reduced now.
I can particularly recomend this if you like dark choc: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I had one last year reduced and have just ordered the enormous piggy one again! Its not so bad as some in terms of value as the eggs is pretty thick. Didn't stop me eating half in one sitting (and feeling very very sick) last year;)

Only on dodgy campsite wifi, so difficult to stay in touch. Don't even have mobile signal. Its like being in the 1980's
