NYX polishes?
I was just blog browsing/ hopping (as you do!) and found a lovely shade of NYX polish that I 'need' Has anyone tried them or ordered from them at all?

Re: NYX polishes?
I had my first three delivered on Saturday!
I actually bought them from here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
They have a very limited range of shades but the price is the same as the NYX site except 123 have free delivery.
I tried Sea of Cortez, which I love; Dreamy Glitter which is OK but fairly sparse and Golden Lavender which I was a bit disappointed with as the gold shimmer isn't very visible. I thought they were great for £2.50 each though

Ditto, I have one but yet to test it out. Looks very pretty in the bottle.
Wear time doesn't overly bother me these days as I change mine so much.

Re: NYX polishes?
For anyone interested in NYX polish, I just found a photo I took a few months ago of the five bottles I bought.

I think that is Under The Moon, because it was one I picked too. I also picked dreamy glitter which I think you may have in that line up.
Re: NYX polishes?
From left to right, they are Dreamy Glitter, Under the Moon, Dorothy, Dynamic Glitter and Frizzy Spots. They are all gorgeous. Which ones did you go for SueD?Jasmina wrote:What is the blue one second in? Re: NYX polishes?
Definitely want to make an order.
The loose pigment also looks like it would be great franken essential and on 3 for 2 yay

I got mine from the US before the postage costs went up steeply. I'd love to get some more, but even the UK store charges £4.50 unless you spend £50.00.

Oh Sue, I NEED that!!
Anyone know if the 'salon' polishes are worth the extra money?

I had three salon ones, and I think the ones I picked are all Deborah Lippman dupes.

I thought the bottle was a bit Lippmanesque! I am going to compile a list and then hold fire, I have an obscene amount of polish on the way and I rather like the basket building process!

Cherry Culture were really good when I used them recently. They seem to have the whole range.

Re: NYX polishes?
It is really beautiful in the bottle, but is no where near that shade of Emerald once on my nails! It's quite sheer and after three coats it's opaque, but it's not Emerald I'm wondering if they've changed the formula as both of the 'darker' swatches I found were from blog posts in 2011

Re: NYX polishes?
I've tried it on a nail wheel over Nails Inc Emerald City but it still leans more towards the tone/shade of Kissy/OPI catch Me In My Net in bright light.Just taken a photo so will see how true it is and upload.

I do wonder about online swatches sometimes, I have also fallen foul of extremely talented bloggers making polishes appear magical only to never ever being able to recreate the look.
My monitor fooled me massively for Orly Frolic, I still love the shade buts it's so pink in real life, when I was expecting a lilac lovely.

I took this is bright sunshine, that is three coats! It is mega sparkly though in real life[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I've just been sat indoors under flourescent lighting though and it does go a bit darker.
Jasmina,I have been fooled a few times too,but I really think they've changed the colour/formula for this one,it's too different .
Ive taken it all off as the three coats smuged every where and I'm going to attempt two coats over the Nails Inc Emerald.
