Broadchurch
My twitter and Facebook feeds are full of people going on about this, I missed it...
Is it worth downloading then?

Re: Broadchurch
Yeah kind of. I downloaded them to watch last weekend before the big finale and it didn't fully grab my attention all the time (like say a binge watch of homeland or Spartacus did) so i put in on when cleaning, cooking, painting my nails, being on the internet. but saying that I really did want to know who did it and the acting in the last episode was really very good.
I find it hard to watch an hour of a show each week, I forget the next episode is on usually.

Re: Broadchurch
I was wondering the same thing...though I'm pretty sure someone gave away who did it in one of the comments on a friends status on my FB.... ,and it was only about five minutes after it had ended!

Re: Broadchurch
John and I were totally enthralled from the first episode, so I'd definitely say it's worth watching.

Re: Broadchurch
Might have to download it and give it a go then, might stop Steve moaning about watching Mad Men for a bit (he hates it haha)
Re: Broadchurch
I've been waiting to read this thread in case it contained any spoilers as OH and I only finished watching Broadchurch yesterday evening. We recorded the whole series and watched it over the last 5 nights.
As a side note, the soundtrack by Ólafur Arnalds is absolutely beautiful.
Although I felt the ending was a bit of a let down, I have to agree with this. We really enjoyed it, plus the cliffs and beach at West Bay where it was filmed are about 20 minutes drive from us so we know it well. OH rarely watches drama on TV as he gets bored easily, so for him to sit and watch all 8 episodes is nothing short of a miracle and says something about how good it was. I'd definitely recommend it.Sam wrote:John and I were totally enthralled from the first episode, so I'd definitely say it's worth watching.

Re: Broadchurch
Me and my OH loved, loved, loved Broadchurch! I'm really curious to see how they're going to make a second series from it!
Re: Broadchurch
Apparently Olivia Colman is definitely going to be in the second series of Broadchurch, I'm not sure about David Tennant though.
