So sorry to hear your sad news Jasmina. Although it's so painful to lose somebody, at least he is no longer suffering.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
I just went for a 7k run and just got home when it started chucking it down. I should be pleased as thats what I call perfect timing but can't get over the fact I really do live in a miserable country, miserable weather and moany people (so many facebook status rants by people today) Makes me sad.

Re: What's On Your Mind?
It's another glitch. From what I've worked out, for some reason it automatically deletes the space before the smiley so the smiley code doesn't work properly unless you add the space back in again.Laura wrote:Why doesn't it put a space after smileys when I do them

Wesker - the no alcohol & antibiotics is crap! Unless its the one they use to stop alcoholics in which case it really is no alcohol!

Re: What's On Your Mind?
HanSpan it's Metronidazole? I got it from the dentist as i have an abcess
Cant have penicillin cos i'm allergic to it
The dentist said not to drink while taking them cos it will make me feel sick.
The thing is the abcess isnt even bothering me, no toothache or nothing, so i dont even need to take the tablets,
but thought it would be best to incase it got any worse.
It will do me good to go a week without drinking lol

Re: What's On Your Mind?
Wesker that was mean of them! There's plenty of non-penecillin options hat don't react to booze. My father is a daily drinker and refuses to even touch Metronidazole.
He is also allergic to penecillin and insists on (I think) Erythromycin. I'm sure that's what he's had from the dentist.
The reaction of Metronidazole and alcohol is meant to be much like that of antabuse - at least in some people - makes you very ill & vomit if you drink. So I'm afraid you are right and its one or the other unless you want to risk being very sorry
Or do what Dad did and say it makes you feel sick and gives you the runs - then they have to give you somehting else!
