Orly thread
We don't have an Orly thread?
1st - dunno how boots can charge £5 for a mini bottle when you can get the whopping 18ml bottles for £7 online.
And second, did I see some one bought Sparkling Garbage? it is worth it? I kinda want to break my no buy for it, its luring me in.

Yes, I'm pretty sure Loola bought it and I think someone else soon followed suit.ninjajane wrote:And second, did I see some one bought Sparkling Garbage? it is worth it? I kinda want to break my no buy for it, its luring me in.

Re: Orly thread
Yup, I Garbaged!
I love it love it love it. It's a pale slightly minty green with scattered uberholo , but it's the smoothness of it that makes it stand out for me, not gritty or bumpy at all.
Generally I find that holo glitter in a jelly base means that the base is too sheer to build up decent coverage and hide VNL. If the polish is a more crème consistency the coverage is there but the holo glitter also gets covered too.
This is the first polish that seems to sidestep these problems!
(I also bought another Orly holo-y one at the same time, hot pink, can't remember the name, but this one suffered from the 'good coverage but hiding the sparkle' issue).

I love the liquid black from Orly, thats my go do black. Sunglasses at Night really disappointed me and I don't have any of the others.

Re: Orly thread
I must admit I'm tempted by the Sparkling Garbage even though I'm not generally a fan of green.

I love Sunglasses At Night, it's firmly in my top ten. It's the only Orly I've got (so far).

Re: Orly thread
oooh they look interesting Loola. (have thanked you for posting )
Is it shallow that I'm more inclined to buy Orly now as I think the bottles look better?

I really don't! I have several plain ORLY cremes that I love, but Sunglasses at Night sets my teeth on edge.
What do you wear it over? I feel I should give it one more try before giving up as it looked so fab in swatches.

I like mine but it looks best in motion and who is going to realistically waggle their fingers all day long?
I also think its possible to out too many coats and ruin the effect. Definitely needs to be layered over black, was not great on its own.
I tried it over white and didn't like it, tempted to try over other shades.

Miss Conduct is the pink one I think as I got it last year when a few people recommended it on here. It is very pretty
I also have a couple more including fowl play which is a flakie purpley jelly and the black one andrgonie or something like that

Re: Orly thread
I only wear Sunglasses over dark colours, usually black or dark blue. I know some people think it looks hairy but I love it.
