somehow at 46 (now 47) and after all those months off with stress last year I just don't seem to care as much!
also one of the absolutely lovely thigns about it is random strangers stop me and comment how much they like my hair. Its lovely - gives me a little bosst of my mood. Its more often than not old ladies too!

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
Currently dark brown/black and almost to my waist. Stupidly thick, naturally curly and I won't leave the house unless its straightened. It's been every colour under the sun but my favourite was black with pillar box red underneath, you can just see it here:

I had it done like that in blue once, LOVED it but god it was a PITA to keep vibrant. I do fancy bright red again, but school doesn't allow non natural hair colours

Seriously foxy.
I'd love to do something like that, or Hanspan's amazingly stunning blue but I don't have the time to maintain it, or the balls to try it

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
mine is also dark curly unruly and very thick but I never have it straight as I just don't have the energy or the skill so it only gets straightened when I go to the hair dressers once every 6 months or so if that
At the moment I am re growing it so it is starting to get to bra strap level
I would love to dye it pink or red or something but it would need bleaching first
I have tried various dyes but I need a hair dresser to do it as it is just so thick and I cant keep up the maintenance

I love the pink, the blue and the red streaks on all of you!
I've never been that adventurous.

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
Naturally blonde and curly. It was almost down to the small of my back and really thick but I made the mistake of using John Frieda products to lighten it further and it completely ruined it. Now it's really thin and I had to have it cut recently to just past my shoulders. And it's so damaged now I can't wear it curly (though I didn't really before, but it's nice to have the option) unless I use rollers/curlers. Learned my lesson there.
So now it's a medium blonde with light pink ombre.

Just been shorn!
Advantages of a travelling hairdresser that's a mate - she will come whenever
Disadvantage - she tells me to shutup when I moan about the bits of hair down my neck!
apparently I'm worse than her worst 5 year old cusomer moaning about itchy bits!

Wow love that cut!
Re: Hair...whats yours like?
Disappointing is the best way to describe mine!
It's long, brown and VERY fine. Think a pony tail of about an inch diameter if it's all tied back. Trying to find wedding hairstyles for my sisters wedding next week has been a nightmare because almost all hair style sites think long = thick!
I can't even use the smallest of those little hair bun things, because I don't have enough hair to go over them.

I was fed up on my birthday so my hair is now a very vibrant shade of mahogany.

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
A bit of a mess just now Long, brown, wavy and gets frizzy really easily. Now starting to get some whites in and also getting rather fine as I can now see bits of my scalp showing
I'd love blue or green hair, but as my hair's in bad shape, I don't want to bleach it. I tried some of that crazy color semi-permanent stuff and it looked very nice for the first few hours but then disappeared.

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
I am extremely jealous of people with thick and full hair
Mine's light brown, halfway down my back and SO fine and flyaway. Occasionally I think about doing something with it, like getting it cut short and trendy, but honestly I can't be bothered. Tie it back or tuck it behind my ears, job done.

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
I have very thick hair and alot of it. Its a fucking nightmare to look after!! I get it cut every 2 months. And when I say cut she takes half an inch of the bottom and then spends the rest of the appointment thinning it!! So hard to manage.
,
my hair is like dull ginger, not battery powered ginger and i wish wesker would stop cutting her hair

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
Ooh, err! At lunchtime I picked up a box of Color XXL Ultra Brights in Electric Blue
I'm off work next week, so I'll give a bash then. Hopefully it'll show up a bit on my unbleached hair.

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
After I shaved my hair, I was tempted to turn it all sorts of different colours, but it wouldn't work on my dark hair without bleaching it, so I decided I couldn't be bothered. I'm currently sporting my natural dark brown / grey mix and letting it grow a little before having it cut properly. Though I'm tempted to keep it shaven and buy a wig for when I go out, as I hate my hair. It's thin, hard to control, quite grey and never looks the way I want it to!

Re: Hair...whats yours like?
I used to wish I had dark hair so I could use the Live blue dye, I'm pretty fair though so it would've just looked ridiculous. Sad times.
