Revlon polish names
Why oh why do they rename the same polish?
I bought some bargains from fragrance direct last night and after googling pics look like I may already have some of them and even managed to buy 2 identical polishes with different names in the same transaction.
I bought blue mosaic which really looks like radiant- will have to compare when I receive it.
I ordered popular and starry night which bloggers reckon are the same lol.
I have facets or fuschia but I have seen it rereleased as scandalous or similar.
I got ruby ribbons as a freebie and other members here have it and mine it glittery and theirs is matte!
Does anyone have any other examples?
I find it funny and the were a total bargain from fragrance direct so no real damage done.

Oh I saw the Facets of Fuchsia one with a different name, I thought I was going mad.

Oh that's helpful - NOT!
send the photo to them and ask if they are trying to give us all palpitations?

I honesty don't know, I bought them all in the UK but that probably doesn't mean much.

But, I think some of them, especially ones from discount places like Fragrance Direct won't be UK releases.
Re: Revlon polish names
I'm not sure that it is foreign releases. I bought facets of fuchsia in boots last year (which , btw, is gorgeous) and I'm sure I've seen it in there this year with a different name. If it was somewhere like fragrance direct, then absolutely - but I can't believe boots deal in dodgy imports!

Yes it's called scandalous now and definitely got my facets if fuchsia in boots. Thought I was getting confused when I saw the new name.

Re: Revlon polish names
I wonder if maybe they just wanted more "punchy" names, one word like Scandalous and Girly rather than Facets of Fuchsia?
Does seem odd to rename the entire collection.

Also I saw the Scandalous in Superdrug so I don't think there's anything dodgy going on, or if there is, they're all at it lol

I hadn't thought of that Laura, but that's a very good suggestion - companies do re-name the same product to move with the times (Opal Fruits, good old Marathon, Olay, Cif etc.....).

Prime example. Smarties actually taste pretty naff now and a bit stale. The satisfying crunch has goneSueD wrote:Jasmina wrote:SueD wrote:And they were made to make your mouth water...!
