I thought this would be a good opportunity to have a moan and a whinge when we feel like it Razz

For me it's when my mum thinks she knows best - she pulled apart a box I was planning to send a parcel in today, thinking she could make a "better" box, but ended up making a complete fuck up of it, leaving me with nothing to send my parcel in.

we need a love thread to balance this out. Too much negativity is bad man, squishes the mellow vibe. lol

corporate lingo. Hate it. I like simple clear words, people flower stuff up so they look intelligent when they just look like a knob. There was a woman who got kicked off the apprentice and she said she hated corporate world speak, and then everyone laid into her for hating the corporate world - which wasn't what she said at all. People who don't listen also irk me.

Folk b*ggering about with things that worked perfectly well in the first place. Like this forum for example. Why the hell can't I quote someone? I'm not an idiot but I can't work this out. There was nowt wrong with it before!

And breathe...

I was trying to quote Laura's post so I could second it, I always run out of conditioner before the shampoo is even half used.

What else winds me up:
* Rogue apostrophes
* Children screeching in supermarkets
* People who let their dog off the lead when they're incapable of calling it back
* People who pick up after their dog then hang the bag in a tree (why?)

Think I'd better stop now.

I've never understood that either. Does it really take more effort to put it in the bin than to find a nice branch to artfully hang it on? scratch

I also hate bad manners, rudeness, litter and most graffiti.

Children are becoming a common irritant here and I fully understand why. I believe that until a child reaches 16 the parent(s) should be fully responsible - if a child commits a crime (i.e. assault or theft as is frequently experienced at school) the parents should be prosecuted. I am sick of my children suffering in the 'me first, and sod everyone else' environment that they have to endure at school. Evil or Very Mad

Most children have no boundaries or consequences (hence running around in the restaurant, screeching in the supermarket etc.) - they have no respect for or fear of any authority, be it their parents, teachers, police etc.

There is a young girl near me in Surrey who insists on screeching and screaming extremely loudly for no reason whenever she is in the garden. I know most kids make some noise when they're having fun which is fine, but this kid seems to just scream at the top of her lungs for the sheer hell of it and it has ruined many a peaceful afternoon. I used to be soooo anti children lol, until I made friends with some mums who have some lovely spawn! Just a shame that the lazy arses who are happy to let their kid scream, shriek and create havoc because they'd rather not deal with it are letting the side down

Unfortunately us 'fully fledged members of society' are in the minority and our votes would pale into insignificance against the innumerable shouting and screaming voices from the pond life that is spawning out of control in our broken society. Ouch! You'd never guess that I volunteer too work with young people!! Even in the affluent area in which I help out the little sods outnumber the decent kids by at least 6:1. At school the ratio is much higher.

Oh and kids with bad manners. My kids don't get anything without please or thank you. The amount of kids that look at you like you have 3 heads whilst you are waiting for the 'magic words'!!!

Well I'm a right grumpy mare at the moment,so I'm sure I can think of a few things.....
Kids on scooters who insist on whizzing past you and then stop dead right in front of you
Parents that don't watch their kids ,don't take responsibility for them and let them get away with stuff because 'they're just playing'
Shop assistants who talk to their work colleagues the whole time they are serving you
People who are late
Cryptic staus updates on Facebook,just say what's up for God's sake,don't expect me to guess
people who go to the theatre and sit and talk,use their phones or kick the back of my seat

Laura: ARGH THIS! Got multipacks stuffed with salt and vinegar because even the slightest whiff of vinegar makes me gag. My brother doesn't eat them either and my mum likes them but obviously doesn't want to eat them for the rest of her life, so we end up with bags and bags of the fucking horrid things
