£1 Holo - Claire's

When I was in Claire's they had some nail polishes at the counter for £1 (they have some nice glitters BTW) and I picked up what looked like a really shimmery pale green. However, when I got home I saw it properly and it's actually a holo. It's a very weak holo, but holo nonetheless. Some pics, with Nubar Reclaim:

It looks more holo (and greener) IRL. And was only £1.

Oooh.....is it worth me walking to Claire's in town in this heat....?!

No, that's the most annoying thing, they don't have names, and I couldn't find a number. But they were on the counter at the till, rather than with the rest of the polishes.

I kidded myself that there was a bit of a breeze out so I wouldn't get too hot...I was wrong.I came home hot grumpy and polish-less ..!!

I found another one! It has no name but on my receipt it was called 'Holo nude'.

It's a bit more golden IRL and would be a great 'work safe' colour. Claire's had a lot of lovely colours when I went in there yesterday (I bought eight in total  ), with a lot of them on sale for £1.

Don't know whether I should be thanking you really!   Now I have to hunt around for these They look so good! I picked up some Claires the last time there was a sale on and they weren't bad at all.

@Nail Luxxe, you know you need them.  I've found Claire's polishes surprisingly good, and cheap too (usually £2.50-£3).

I put a picture in the purchases thread
they are holo mint, sugar pink, and neon blue, yellow, coral and purple.

If you can find them, they're on 3 for 2 now  
I put pics of mine (holos in nude, pink and olive; pale denim blue, bad fairy-a-likey) in the latest purchases thread. There were loads more to choose from but they were on the nail polish stand in the shop rather than at the till (Folkestone). Glitters galore but I tend to find Claires glitters a bit sparse. The top third of the stand were all £1.

I'm 99% sure four of the ones I bought last week are dupes for some of the China Glaze Bohemian collection. I'm not 100% sure because I don't own any of the CG ones but from looking at swatches they look identical.

oh will pop past claires today with a bit of luck and see if i can spot them

They still have £1 polishes in mine Baba as I think they are re-vamping their polishes,they have new ones in mine which look like Nails Inc bottles and all the old style polishes are in markdown bins.I had no luck finding any holos though 

Thanks Sue. God knows when I'll next be able to get anywhere near a branch of Claire's though!

The old style ones were full price in my local today.

Loving the look of the new Nails Inc style bottles though, and only £2.50 each.
